Thargoid maelstrom update; I’ve edited my previous ramblings regarding these. Previously I made some speculation about celestial spheres etc… totally nonsense of course (!) at least in relation to these maelstroms.
The additional 2 points do not correlate with my earlier projections as they seem to be dispersed in both hemispheres; granted none of them are intruding inside this sphere of influence… but there is not enough data to draw any conclusions, other for me to edit my speculation.

Back to basic - Speculation on how Raxxla is supported as narrative
The narrative for Raxxla must have left some crumbs for us to follow, this is how previous mysteries gave us the ability to follow leads and think for ourselves.
If we look at the past treasurehunts we can see how storytelling and and solution evolved.
(ref in case you wonder what it was, sorry for my scrambled notes, but I used the old forum posts. Simple highlights for my own mind to follow the hunts: one, two, three, four)
Takeaway: Galnet & Ingame clues are left for us to find, but they may have evolved over time.
Assertion: Galnet & the game IS canonn at all given times.
Galnet + the game universe together. This includes the Codex as media. Codex-content validity is a different question
Jasmina Halsey and the disappearance of Starship One
This Galnet story that makes me ponder a bit more, there's talk in the stories which may align with The Toast (Codex\Raxxla).
The storyline circulated Galnet in 2015-2016, supported by ingame CG-events (2016) and discussions here in this thread 2019-2022.
a) Conspiracy talkshow: talks about her abduction by people from Andromeda (not the Lizard people).
b) Halsey's "vision / dream": "They" spoke to her after the witchspace jump incident. She talks about another place, a better place and other beings.
Additionally, more shadow cabal was interested in data from the incident (ref the CG for wreckage parts/data). Sample quote (there are others): "Daurtu Jet Comms PLC offered larger rewards for wreckage than the Federation."
This may just be standard CG narrative. But that goes for "everything" on Galnet really.
The Treasure-hunt model used on The Toast
The treasure-hunt model has shown us that they tend to show us a starting point, when we understand that part it will lead to the next.
I believe "The Toast" could be using such a model.
In that case, let's see where it can lead us:

What is not cannon
Commander articles on Galnet, they have been accepted but we can't be sure they are cannon.
Brookes & Braben (B'n'B) past talks may no longer be cannon (out of date as the narrative evolved), so personally I'll try to avoid using their old stories.
Same goes for old 'no longer cannon books/novels', again for the same reasons.

Is this enough to warrant a clear and distinctive link to Raxxla? No.
Could all of this be reference to Thargoids? No, they are no caretakers/peacemakers of the galaxy.
Could all of this be reference to Guardians? Yes.
But put together with how old treasure-hunts was conducted, then it may warrant more brainpower & muscle.

- The last stage is compile / decrypt the data, usually some text/telling/story : .............. now what ..........

You might also want to look up earlier Jaques articles in relation to this too. Colonia only started because of Jaques eventual location, but he wasn't intending to be there. He was travelling to Beagle Point, but pulled out of hyperspace and off course. Some of the quotes attributed to him also match up with Halsey's accounts.
I'm not at my PC right now to look up the articles easily, but I thought I'd at least mention it.
I agree, I have been going over all the Halsey stuff for a while (I did an article on the whole thing years ago, I've always loved Halsey's story), I've been investigating a lot of hyperspace-realted stuff trying to look for anything related to her mis-jump (that's how I ended up with Witchspace Plants and trying to go through weird stuff like that).
Here's my post collecting all the "whispers" or related to Sirens/sounds that lure people etc.
I have said it many times, but this part I think is the most compelling:
That's the closest thing I've ever found in-game to that part of the Toast all as one complete thing.
The structure is just so similar:

Thanks, I recall that debacle. I just didn't find the 'broad general link' in their story-telling model for it yet, the broad link to a relevant clue in other game/media. (Yet).
Yeah, I read that at the time. It's definitively a thing that is backed up with their way of telling stories.
I think it shares the same strong links, but I'm clueless how to continue tracing that one as well.
I want to find something that give us a strong link to the third paragraph in the toast - or perhaps that third paragraph actually needs decoding (aka 'the runes' method in one of the treasurehunts).
A while back I tried to find the quote where Jaques is talking about the UA's "singing", I remember that quote and have seen others quote it, do you remember that too? I can't find the actual quote in the Galnet archives, any ideas? Is it a Mandela effect?
Maybe the Formidine Rift expedition logs needs another look? If they contain one thing that's a fairly decent match, maybe there's more? I was mostly only looking for the "whisperer" bit as I remembered that from ages ago. I'll have a look, see if anything jumps out, if you like?
UAs are singing, Jacques had a Witchspace incident indeed. It suits the second pragraph.
But there's no link to the first paragraph (the first broad clue: treasurehunt model) in the toast that I can see, perhaps my mind is too cluttered atm.
A bit of the same problem occurs to me with the Formidine Rift narrative if I stick to the Toast (being the treasure-hunter glue). I need to understand what in the first paragraph that points us to the Formidine narrative.

It supports Halsey narrative being used for that storyline. But it does not exclude the narrative is used for more things, it just changes how likely it is.

Line 3) that's where it all falls apart ... I can't find any matches exactly... maybe it's a more general sense of Grief, Woe, and Yearning? That's something common to Halsey and the Rift expedition, death and loss and a yearning to find out what happened by going out exploring - it's a reach, I know!
Though, presumably if this is a "treasure map" style follow-the-clues, and if this guess is right, then it's pointing out past the Rift, so maybe whatever line 3 means is beyond the Rift logs?
It's interesting this 'trail' bottoms out at the same place as your Halsey ideas too. Maybe they're both pointing at the same things? No idea how

I vaguely remember something along those lines, but I've been thinking about that. I have a sneaking suspicion it might have actually been on the local noticeboard in Jaques station. I don't think those exist anymore, and don't get published on galnet.
On the other hand, it might have also been on the text in the relay station messages that had clues tu Jaques location. In which case, the could still be searchable in game, if we have records of where they were.

IIRC that is the last time they really made an appearance anywhere. Possibly were trying to close down any investigation/information to be gleaned from the wreckage. Dont know how they could possibly have known about the “Caretakers of the Galaxy” visions she had in her escape pod, more likely trying to cover up evidence of the sabotage. Suspect it has nothing to do with Raxxla storyline, but need to ponder........still not convinced there currently is a Raxxla storyline after MB’s departure and the E/F missions deletion, but don't let my scepticism stop your ruminations!
