I was just looking at my "travel map" - it's sooo unadventurous!Perhaps I should get out more...
Still looks better than mine. Got a few hours less under my belt, though.Mine probably looks like that. Where do you get that?

Here's mine from edsm.net. Top left corner is Beagle Point, bottom right is Livingstone Point which is the farther 'south' you can go.I was just looking at my "travel map" - it's sooo unadventurous!Perhaps I should get out more...

Actually I was getting the dark side most of the time as well for a long time, but lately it's been the light side. Oddly enough though, it seems to turn quite a bit darker after I've been there for a minute or so. I do have night vision, but find the flashlight is best. Why is so much on foot stuff on the dark side of the planet?
It’s to keep Night Vision modsWhy is so much on foot stuff on the dark side of the planet?
One can choose with CZ’s and also check mission locations via the link to galaxy map, but i tend to choose between a suit with NV or enhanced tracking when in glide mostly… the light/dark side on the planet surface map can still be a bit inaccurate.Actually I was getting the dark side most of the time as well for a long time, but lately it's been the light side. Here's my travels, almost all of those I'm hitting every single system and as you know, I don't have a carrier (yet). Almost all of it in my Anaconda. I think the furthest out I got was about 50,000 Ly from Sol, here's a screen shot at around 45,000 Ly.

I would guess that is because most planets/moons aren't tidally locked to the star...the light/dark side on the planet surface map can still be a bit inaccurate.
I thought the surface maps were rendered based on current time and meant to keep up with orbital rotation, but i still find it best to pick the suit when i’m packing eBreaches and have a closer view of the site …or just stick to one with both mods (NV & ET) if i’m feeling cruisey and can’t be bothered with the extra fuss ;pI would guess that is because most planets/moons aren't tidally locked to the star...
The best of luck for you, Tyres.I have bitten the proverbial bullet: Win 11 is downloading. I'm not scared. Not at all. OMG. What have I done?
Perhaps I'll see you all on the other side. Or maybe I won't... I have no fingernails left. Wish me luck...
You know Windows 10 is still good for almost 3 more years, right? And stable...I have bitten the proverbial bullet: Win 11 is downloading. I'm not scared. Not at all. OMG. What have I done?

I bought a new PC with Windows 11 installed just a few months after it came out and it had quite a few bugs, but seems to work very well for me now. Seems that whenever a new Windows version is released it's a bit like one of those "early access" games and they depend on the worldwide user community to report all the nonsense that crops up.You know Windows 10 is still good for almost 3 more years, right? Well, I'm done...
It was - so far, pretty painless. Had an odd issue with sound i.e. none. After soiling my hose, and trying stuff, I unplugged my 'phone and put them back in. Worked. How bizarre is that?
Anyway... the game is running so now I have to do some tweaks to make my rig all Mrs. Tyres friendly![]()
Sounds all too familiar… always a mix of excitement and “but what will be broked” when getting a patch here as is… still, change is inevitable and theI bought a new PC with Windows 11 installed just a few months after it came out and it had quite a few bugs, but seems to work very well for me now. My backup system still runs it and will to the bitter end.You know Windows 10 is still good for almost 3 more years, right? And stable...
