What? How?the only animals that wouldn’t fit would be Eurasian and even those would betray a massive colonial / European POV.

Name an animal that fits…. For whine is it emblematic of ‘exploration’ or ‘discovery’?What? How?
Off topic but oh please please tell me you included a replica of the something wild logo - world's biggest Tassie devil conservation site, and some of their devil's ate my mums sunglasses hahathe kiwi is my most wanted among the three most Common Oceanian island animals - and my main zoo is set in Tasmania!
SEA would be a weird theme for that though.Yeah i prefer the idea of a Discovery or Exploration pack than either islands or rainforests as scenery packs.
Would you all be up for a crying circle?Count me in aswell
Well you might have a point because the one i can think of are either already ingame (Okapi, gorilla, platypus, kangaroo) or are deffinetly not coming to PZ because of mechanics or because they are extremely rare (ceolacanth, saola, echidnas)Name an animal that fits…. Hint: with very few exceptions there were people who already knew all about it.
TBH, I’ve never been there - I like Bonotrong though… my main is a recreation of Beaumaris (Hobart) zoo… in the 1930’sOff topic but oh please please tell me you included a replica of the something wild logo - world's biggest Tassie devil conservation site, and some of their devil's ate my mums sunglasses haha

Yeah but none of them are Euroasian animals. That's what confused the most about your reply lol I actually can't think of any eurasian animal that would fit.All of which only fit ‘discovery’ or ‘exploration’ from a European POV….
I'm obsessed with Bonorongs QuollsTBH, I’ve never been there - I like Bonotrong though… my main is a recreation of Beaumaris (Hobart) zoo… in the 1930’s
I eventually plan to update it as if it never closed.
Me too. And SA monkey if rainforest.i really really hope it has a bird lmao![]()
Total disagree - neither ‘discovery’ or ‘exploration’ even qualify as a theme IMO, the only animals that wouldn’t fit would be Eurasian and even that would betray a massive colonial / European POV.
I’m not a local anymore (back in Vic) but did my PhD there…. I saw both types of quolls, devils, platypus, and much more in the wild whilst I was there. Great place to do research.I'm obsessed with Bonorongs Quolls
I really love your zoo concept. Not a Tassie local but travelled it extensively, with another 12 months exploring planned for next year
Short-beaked echidnas are very common zoo animals in Australia and their international presence isn't too shabby for an Oceanian mammal either (17 EAZA holdings) - I don't think they should rank alongside animals that aren't kept in captivity at all in regards to rarity.are deffinetly not coming to PZ because of mechanics or because they are extremely rare (ceolacanth, saola, echidnas)
