I'm getting the same on regular Frontier launcher.
Click upgrade and it just sits there.
One occasion it did get to the update bar but just sat there from 40mins.

Pfft!
I'm not sure it's related, but windows defender always seems to have a problem with ed updates. check if it's showing a lot of activity and in that case exclude the frontier program dir from defender.
 
The Pulse Neutraliser requires Propulsion Elements to purchase a single module, but the only to get Propulsion Elements is to kill a Thargoid.

So are those that do not wish to do combat with the Thargoid's, are locked out of seeing what is inside the Maelstrom's?!
If you don't want to have to fight against the Thargoïds, why would you bother going inside the hot war zone ?
Still i can agree with you about curiosity and research or for any kind of support

You can loot Propulsion Elements from scouts
from a not so good AX fighter like me, the easiest way is a Krait MK II with 2 beams (ideally long range) and 3 AX multi cannons
close to a starport, you can dock/repair/reload and go back to fight until you get the 5 requested elements
 
We can no longer ingenorize the caustic siphon, it has been moved to the experienced elements
I can confirm this - we can no longer engineer Caustic Sink Launchers.
They used to be in Heatsink Launcher category which made it possible to apply heatsink blueprints to them but U15 moved them to experimental modules which made it now impossible to use the blueprints on them.

I like the carriers display. Why are some greyed out and can't be selected? Due to no landing access access? If yes, it would be better if we could select them and see that info.

Just a few thoughts for you and the team.

Update 13 gave me hope for more of a science/non-combat route appearing, but the Kingfisher incident just before it, and then the content in Update 14 made it pretty clear the trajectory the team were pushing us along.
I'd hoped that Update 15 would bring more science, and there's a chance there will be some, but from the new module requiring combat materials to unlock it and my first looks into the Maelstrom it's definitely more combat focused.

It looks amazing! I love the whole aesthetics and the vibe, the audio is sublime, but pushing us down a combat only route is becoming increasingly disenfranchising for a growing number of players. And it's compounded by them feeling they don't want to even take part in new activities because they don't want the developers to think that people want to engage in that kind of content. And that is a real shame. Because if just getting to the centre is all we have that doesn't involve shooting things, then a lot of people will be disappointed.

A huge congratulations to the team for getting the update out and having a nice smooth launch.
 
I can promise you that the excitement bubbling away within me is entirely matched with all of you Commanders o7 I live this as much through you all as I do from this side of the curtain with the team, so imagine how shaky I am on days like these, haha...o7 to you all.
I saw on a post those cmdrs that contributed unclassified relics to ram tah would also get access to a pulse wave neutralizer on the Orunmilla mega ship. I did nt see one there and I know I gave several of the green sticks to ram tah. Am I mistaken?

Since the dev team is addressing carriers on the panels and maps, is there a way you can pass along a much needed suggestion of allowing the player to filter FCs in the system panel. Like say All / Favorite / Mine / None? That way we can have say our personal FCs still show up while filtering out everyone else. Obviously, since I listed Favorite as an option, there would have to be a way to tag a fleet carrier as a "Favorite", not sure how easy or hard that would be. But I thought I would ask for it anyway.

I would love to be able to filter out FCs in systems but still, you know, always see mine.
 
Crash to desktop or application hangs after the update. Is this server-related or something wrong with the game?
 
I don't know how to cancel a carrier jump any more. I can neither find a distinct button to do so nor can I cancel the jump by clicking on an new target, the chosen destination or the current destination. Is this working a intended?

I just get told:
'not a valid carrier destination'

So this is an intentional change? Some people can keep engineered modules while others will not be able to have them?
