EDIT Made it to a station where there is a 'goid alert for the system. Hyperdictions everywhere getting here though. Let's see if I can find a mission... for later.

I needed 5 Massive energy Surge Analytics for the new TG pulse neutraliser. Only had one as once is enough to realise it's a bad move going to the centre of the Maelstrom.
So I went back into Taranis with 3300 hull and a caustic sink launcher to smack my Krait MKII into the energy surge 4 more times like a fly banging into a window.... in the name of science. Escaped with 11% hull.
Now about that neutraliser....

I think I stumbled on a bug, I pay to have ammo, heatsinks and cell banks replenished and the menu turns white after wards. I get into combat and don't have ammo for cannon (made some myself) no heat sinks or cell banks. I'm hoping it's a one-off.

uh oh... :geek:

well, i'm finally launching again - after i got back online, Steam insisted on verifying my install from earlier for about 20 mins... and then further insisted on doing the whole update / downloading 10GB all over again... took an hour /o\

but... so, now: i'm going in! :D

I'm backing out of the new Thargoid stuff until a) I've done some research and b) heard whether tweaks are required. There is an option c) - grind for the new modules and stuff and I just can't stomach doing that.

You can always use the "No 2 O" method:

I used to use the "mocha" values:

<MatrixRed> 0.7, 0.08, -0.08 </MatrixRed>
<MatrixGreen> 0, 1, 1 </MatrixGreen>
<MatrixBlue> 0.15, -0.15, 1 </MatrixBlue>

EDHM is just more.... "complete" a change.

The Revenants are fairly ez to kill with long-range laser btw - a bit tougher armor than skimmers, though they tend to shoot quite a bit more ;]

The bits of the themes that stopped working won’t work properly until after EDHM gets patched, the update hasn’t altered your files but has changed something that the themes look for in the game so until they are told what to look for now the Orange will leak in through the cracks.

I've been doing lots and lots of on-foot CZs and the last couple I did were bugged with the frozen NPCs. One got me 28 million odd CR, then I did this one:

And my Merc rank is now Elite. I still only have G3 over-the-counter weapons and suits, so maybe I'll do something different for a while just to make a change, such as pinching stuff from settlements so I can upgrade my weapons...

While I agree with doing different things so the game doesn’t get routine, I do wonder if upgrading your weapons is necessary, on the other hand just because you have got massive overkill available doesn’t mean you have to use it.

Congratulations on your achievment.

Not all forum search engines are built equally, that's for sure. Some of them are nigh on useless.

Xenforo has a pretty good one though.

Every single time there's a game update, it will take EDHM a few days to get it all sorted out. Usually, some elements will work but not others initially. They'll get is sorted in a week at most.
