Thread for publicising your issues that are otherwise expiring due to lack of votes/confirmation

Finally made an issue for this:

It was an issue before the legacy split, but I was able to work around it by switching to horizons and using an IF there to properly clear my bounties. Now I don't have that luxury so onto the tracker it goes.
tl;dr The game has become incredibly triggerhappy about handing out federal/imperial bounties and trying to clear them by handing yourself in just results in them getting slapped straight back onto you for the next minor offence no matter how small.

edit: to show how annoying this is, I just went from a clean slate to this in one go, for doing a single scan misison:

the 1200 is fine and expected. The 20k is incredibly annoying - not because of the credits, but because of being locked out of every federal starport until I can deal with it.

Orca ship kit parts are black when viewed from at most 130 meters from ship - 0 confirmations

Orca ship kit parts are black when viewed from at most 130 meters from ship, when viewed with the external camera, from SRV and on foot. I have verified this issue with the Asemic Black and Gold paint job, but it looks like this applies to all the other Asemic paint jobs too, because when I previewed them in the Livery function, ship kit parts were black. I have not bought any of the Asemic paint jobs to any other ship that has a ship kit.

It is now three weeks since I reported this and still it has 0 contributions. I suspect it will expire after a week or so.

Just posted these two issues. Please vote/contribute:

1) Universal Multi Limpet Controller: collector limpet range is wrong. Actual range is 1200m, that of a normal 1A collector. Yup.
2) Universal Multi Limpet Controller: limpet life is not "Infinite". Collector limpets expire after 8m30s.

So either those two stats for the 7C Universal Multi Limpet Controller are wrong, or they're not working as intended (please be the latter!).

Currently it's pretty much useless for scooping up stuff after killing Thargoid interceptors, unless you like swimming in leftover caustic goo.

It tells you the highest stats out of all limpet types. In this case it's showing the stats for prospectors because they have the longest range and don't expire.

Think of it like a tax collection method whereby the more you play, the more you pay...politicians...gotta love their funding schemes...

Now my issue has expired without a single confirmation. sigh I wonder if this is happening only on my PC... But I would guess there exist at least a few other players who have this same issue.

What the…? I thought this thread was forgotten 😅
I was pointed to it by someone else on the forums.

Anyway, here's my personal favourite. Everyone who has ever sold a ship by accident knows this. The UI needs a little tweak:

https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/61590 - Selling a fully engineered ship is insanely easy on a miss-click.

Discussion (more or les on topic) here: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/accidentally-sold-ship.619193/page-3

3/10. Sigh.

Since this thread was brought back into memory, this one’s my current personal pet peeve of U17.

https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/62066

Wherein, AX reactivations in Thargoid territory just outright all fail if you take multiple, some have already been completed and you left the settlement to do another in that same run, then fail it by getting shot down on foot. (Only the completed ones are marked as ‘failed’. And this was the result of a fix to try getting them to ‘fail properly’…)

I might have missed another report about them, not sure. This is the only one I’ve seen to date and considering how annoying this issue is… (how do I check how many contributions it’s got? Or would they just be visible if there was more than one [mine]?)

I’ve not been able to find a duplicate report so I’ll add my confirmations to this report when I have a spare few minutes 👍

The number of Confirmations can be counted up under the “User Contribution” section - if there is a “view reproduction details” box then it’s a confirmation. Check the Frontier User ID string to make sure it’s not multiple reports from the same person and that should give the total - and the issue reporter can also add a confirm that will count towards the total (in my experience it takes 11 confirms to get it to automatically change to Confirmed status).

3/10. Sigh.
I’ll help with that later on 👍
