Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

Most likely it is YouTube that blocked it, due to a copyright claim for, indeed, the music. SME stands for Sony Music Entertainment.
Unless it was Korean music you were listening to, then it might have been S.M. Entertainment...
Yeah, there's one song that says "Blocked in some regions", I trying to replace it. That'll give it time to render anyway, dang, I was kinda proud of doing this, now I feel stupid.

I decided to give it another try. First, I found some Antigravitum:

Then, the scenery opened into a basin, which showed some odd signals. On closer inspection, I found this:
So close.jpg

As soon as my ship had secured itself, I jumped out to take a closer look. Yes, it was what I thought it would be:
Yet so far.jpg

I fetched my SRV to inspect the surroundings, but there wasn't any other patch of this stuff in a radius of approx 1km...

I'm not sure if I should start another search later or move on to my mission destination, which is only one jump away...

You know, unless you follow some content creators that have specialized in music or work in environments that are prone to having music blasting into your microphone, you most likely haven't heard about this, as many creators apparently prefer not to talk about it.

I think that one is where they appear in another part of the mountain range. Or another range altogether. And high up. On uneven ground. Where your ship chelps at landing. Awkward.

I'm not sure I follow, I'm not using a microphone.
I seem to be speaking in riddles, today... 😅

I was referring to YT content creators that either make videos about music (analyzing parts of songs and such) or are prone to unwillingly have some background music (like a couple I follow that makes minigolf videos, which every so often have to mute the sound due to the fact that the course owners have music playing over outdoor speakers).
It was not really related to your video, as I don't know anything about it besides the fact that it exists, because it didn't even show up here on my end.
My intention was to make you feel a little less dumb, as this copyright stuff isn't something that is commonly known.

Oh yeah CMDR ]M[ -- it's a dangerous business trying to point your monkey seat at these space seats inn't it!!

After all these years in their ship seats, commanders don't really know anymore how to properly sit on a normal chair...
Combine that with all the space-bending action of travelling faster than light and you get the perfect recipe for some spooky shenanigans.

He looks like he's done too much flying with FA off, it's a wonder they don't end up smears on their windshields with some of the moves I've seen those ships make.
Those flight suits get part of the seat as soon as the ship's engines are running.

Speaking of running engines...
I persevered in my quest to scan the Fungoids and finally Fortuna cracked a smile...

I didn't bother to try to find those Bacteriae, as I feel doing this would verge on torture and madness or maybe insanity...

Now I am in the system that should bear the ancient ruins - all I have found so far are two planets with at least 6 biosigns on them. I picked the closest to land on, DSSed during the approach, set the filter to Cactoida and landed in one of the blue spots. Didn't disturb any Cactoids, yet. Maybe later.

Well I might have a problem, it turns out, with my moral fiber. It's the only reason I could think of why I have notoriety 4, so I go do a few missions while things cool down, and come out with notoriety 7 and anonymous protocols. It's my disregard for the laws and wanton killing, most often, that get me in to trouble. Still -- at the end of the day, I'm glad those stand-up mission providers can still offer a few things to do

I spent a few days near the Thargy Thargs, in a fairly isolated pocket of humanity.. and I wonder what it used to be like. It has very nice views of the barnard's loop area

Didn't see any CMDRs the whole trip!

Oh yeah that makes sense now because the furniture frame shifts

Time for a trip to your local, trusty prison barge. Their great fun and the pruno aint bad. (y) Just watch out for those frame shifting beds.:)

As I entered the cockpit this morning, I noticed that the sun had wandered onwards and left me in the dark.
So I took off to find some light - and these cactoids. I found some, the one that resembles a mother-in-law cushion. In beautiful amethyst.
Scanned it, hopped into my SRV and drove around for some time... Didn't find any of them, so far. But something else grew there almost like grass:
Frutexa Metallicum grey.jpg

So I said screw it, the cactoid is near my ship, thus easy to find. Scrapped the scan and scanned these, which went quite smoothly, with all these patches of them all over the place. Returned to my ship and scanned the cactoid once again.
Entered the ship and ended the session for some grocery action before it gets too hot.
At 8 AM, we already had about 23°C (75°F). We got weather warnings for reaching up to 37°C (~98°F) - in northern Germany, close to the coast.

Just did my first professional takedown. Never tried one before and it was a actually good fun. The place I had to go to was swarming with enemies and the alarms were already kicking off. Not sure if that was its normal state or whether I'd set them going but none of the inhabitants were shielded or on high alert.

I settled my ship down about a K away and drove the scorpion in close (found some niobium en route). Got up behind a building so noone could see me, donned my ninja outfit and went all Spiderman up to a roof. Got the long gun out and started picking them off - no fines, no bounty. Fantastic.

And then, there was my mark, just staning there, unshielded.

ADS adjustmemts made, check; solar winds taken into account, check; gravity adjusted for, check.

Bang!

And the goit was still standing! Wha...!

Bang!

And then we all lived happily ever after and I got my 4 weapon test data. Yummy.

I should tell you about the time i was in the loo, seated, when my co-pilot suddenly decided to do an unscheduled hyperspace jump… or on second thoughts, mebbe not - suffice to say i was partially-ingested by the ablution facilities and my shirt looked worse than Arthur’s pants!

Ye g*ds, not dear, sweet, innocent Penny? …such a lovely lass! …surely she has not turned to desperate deeds now? Can she really be the new scourge of the system?! Tell me it is not true! :sneaky:

Just a wee point of order here: on a takedown or assassination, you are not actually required to decimate the entire settlement… however, i salute your additional efforts and uncurbed enthusiasm, especially as this is on a weekend! Cheers! 🍻 :D

“I love it when a plan comes together!” :)
