Summary
System: Rabh
Station: Muller Terminal (Coriolis starport, large pads available, 30 Ls from main star, 120.85 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Deliver Neofabric Insulation, Polymers and Thallium
Time limit: 14th September 3309 @ 06:00 UTC

Description
Aegis aims to provide an update to the pulse wave xeno scanner that can locate captive humans on Thargoid Titans.
Dr Maximo Fonseca, the Alliance’s scientific liaison to Aegis, informed the media about the project:
Information provided by Seo Jin-ae suggests that people abducted by the Thargoids are being kept alive aboard the Titan motherships inside ‘pods’. This theory makes sense - since Thargoid atmospheres are toxic to humans, any captives are surely sealed in an environment that meets their respiratory and nutritional needs.

The pulse wave xeno scanner has been modified by Allied, Federal and Imperial technicians, working in concert using Aegis’s communications protocols. The module’s electromagnetic pulse technology aims to identify these pods by detecting several key markers generated by living humans.

A broader effort to prepare for humanitarian rescue efforts is underway, but we have encountered a shortage of neofabric insulation, polymers and thallium. Shipments of these materials are urgently required to support the crews onboard rescue megaships in its vital work.
Contributors are asked to transport these commodities to Muller Terminal in the Rabh system. The CD-51 1447 Imperial Society has agreed to coordinate the enterprise on behalf of Aegis, and will protect deliveries by redeeming bounty vouchers for all wanted ships in the system.
The campaign begins on the 7th September and will run for one week. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.
To earn rewards you must sign up as an active participant before delivering Neofabric Insulation, Polymers and Thallium to Muller Terminal in the Rabh system.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.
Notes:
  • Wiberg Station is at planet A 2

CG description is somewhat unclear - is it new module or upgrade for existing one? No modified PWXS as reward? Maybe with tier 1 all PWXSs will be automatically upgraded?

My guess is the already existing PWXSs will receive this new functionality automatically once it's ready.

Well, my jump time is 16 minutes to ???????, we'll see how jump time extend as people get home from work (I have a few days off:)) and look to get CG hauling far enough away from Rabh to continually fill up the old FC.

Note - assuming not many FC movements just yet, as CG only just announced.
Will prove or disprove some peoples theories about FC Jumps as people get moving FC's tonight (I've had 15-16 minute FC jumps for 4 days).

I hope this is just a straight upgrade to the existing scanner and not a new module. All these different modules are getting pretty ludicrous. Start combining functionalities.

Meanwhile, hundreds of Belugas full of passengers and thousands of other ships across the human territories were destroyed because their pilots decided to loiter in the station. None of those lives were given a second thought. Yeah this lore/story sure makes a ton of sense.

Interesting set of commodities:
- Polymers dont pay well at all (even for a cheap good like Polymers a basic Investment state would do better) but even a fairly small refinery should be able to keep up with the haulers indefinitely so it'll be quick round trips
- Thallium pays pretty well but is only available from surface Refineries so quantities are somewhat limited
- Neofabric Insulation pays even better but other than a few Odyssey industrial settlements with negligible quantities and unreliable availability, is only found as a mission reward

Back to normal CG commodities those that pay crap will still be available from Sunday - thursday for when the higher paying items have run virtually dry by saturday for the weekenders already..

They couldn't even offer a free module as a reward? It costs nearly 1m to buy and there's a good chance any ship trying to use it will get destroyed, would be nice to have a special low-value version of it to keep rebuy costs to a minimum...

Ultra-cheap low-quality knockoff versions of expensive modules... Now there's an idea.

They could easily break, overheat, etc. Your choice on whether you want to pay the big bucks for quality, or buy crappy knockoffs for cheap. :p

Is there a reason the system controlling faction isn't hosting the CG?

This seems like it will be problematic for the controlling faction.

Conversely, seems like it would be problematic for other factions for it to be hosted by the controlling faction.

Good thing that's just background flavour 😀

Typically the CG is hosted by the controlling faction, thus the question. Especially since it's an Aegis faction and this is an Aegis CG. Either way, as long as the contributions aren't being applied to the "flavors" influence, I'm assuming it is not really an issue.

Aegis Imperium controls the CG station so they'll get the trade buffs, while CD-51 1447 is apparently collecting the bounties... so they'll basically even each other out?

It's just incredible that they release a Gold Rush unmissable CG the last week, then they launch a totally delusional CG on the subsequent one...

Why LOL!
Might be data/player statistics gathering, server testing and optimizing or other behind-the-scenes reasons for both the previous gold rush and the current CG.

Whatever the case, this time the hosting faction actually has systems with RES-s so bounty hunting it is!

To what end? So if you get there without being whittled to near death and find that hummies are on the titan. Then what?
Let me guess, skin sample it to find out.
