Winter 2023 DLC Speculation

Hey so question. How would you feel if Frontiers new game turned out to be Planet Aviary?. They have surely heard a thousand people ask for birds by now, and they like to fill out niches that are unmet in the gaming industry....
Birds by themselves have no value so Planet Aviary is not ever gonna be a thing, it's like saying they would do something like Planet Reptile House.

I can definitely see Planet Aquarium being one of the 2 CMS games Frontier mentioned in their report, the other one being Planet Coaster 2. But at the same time I have seen other people speculate that it might be some sort of sports game? Because of their hiring positions or something.

I would be disappointed and wouldn't likely buy a game that's only birds. Which is weird in a way since I'd be totally interested in Planet Aquarium.

I wouldn't buy a birds-only-game either. It's the combination of animals that makes a zoo game interesting, whereas bird-only might be only attractive for bird lovers. Planet Aquarium... well, I don't know if I'd buy that. Would be fun to create underwater worlds, but then again... I'd miss semi-aquatic animals and then non-aquatic ones. It wouldn't feel complete.

So everyone was dead set on it being a Temperate pack, then it turned out to be the Oceania pack. So everyone seems to be dead set it will be a Highlands pack, I’m guessing we are going to be surprised
It's actually a stealth temperate pack as well. Most of the animals are found in temperate biome, so in a way those who guessed temperate were right. And also it's partly a stealth islands pack.

Oh there hasn't been a decent golf game in a while, imagine being able to build fantasy golf courses. Oh lord, no one tell my dad.

I appreciate you all for answering, I agree with the sentiment. I am a bit of an abstract thinker and sometimes I end up with weird tangents. I was thinking about birds (when am I not honestly) and how many people in the community want them, and then I was like, oh. What if Frontier now thinks there is a target audience for a stand alone bird game. 🤣. I am a bird enthusiast by hobby and trade, so I would buy such a thing, but I also think it would not hold a candle to the fun of pz, especially if pz ends up with flighted birds.

I posted this on the PZ Reddit, but here's my prediction for the Winter dlc:
Mountain Animals Pack
  • Hamadryas baboon/gelada (headline animal)
  • Pallas's cat
  • Andean bear
  • Alpine marmot (North American or European)/wolverine
  • Takin
  • Markhor
  • Himalayan monal
  • Chinese giant salamander (exhibit animal)
I think it's doable, I think it's realistic given what we've received in the past, and I'd be quite happy with this.

I could see this, I feel like because people always love the small cutsie animals like prairie dog, meerkat, quokka, etc if they run out of time or they try to cut corners they’ll throw in the marmot. It’s an animal I don’t want or need but I wouldn’t mind, much like the quokka.
