Third Anniversary Animal

I'm still holding my bets for either of the following:

American Flamingo
Blackbuck
Grevy's Zebra
Hamadryas Baboon
King Cobra (E)
Linne's Two-toed Sloth (WE)

Like I've said my #1 hope is the grey crowned crane, and in terms of potential habitat birds I'd also be very happy with a New World flamingo (I think a rhea would be saved for a future Latin America-based back). My other choice would be a sulcata tortoise--the most common large tortoise in captivity and one which should have been in the Arid Pack IMO.

Worst case scenario (other than not getting an anniversary animal at all) is a clone that doesn't do anything to fill a new niche, like the Masai giraffe or Grevy's zebra.

Masai giraffe's one of my hope along with African leopard (my most hope) and any Australian monitor lizard.

It's hard to guess, but so far the animals seen as anniversary presents are fairly known and common zoo animals. Also so far we have an semi African animal(the lemur) and the red deer from Europe. So Perhaps they just visit country after country? Hard to tell, but here is my hopes;

Africa/Middle East:
-Any type of antelope could make it(Bontebok, Impala, Gerenuk, Arabian Oryx, Dikdik, Kudu, Eland)
-Hamadryas baboon
-African Leopard
-Spurred tortoise
-Nile crocodile

Australia:
-Perentie
-Freshwater crocodile

Asia/Indonesia:
-Gaur/Banteng/Lowland Anoa
-Javan Rhino
-Javan green peacock
-Blackbuck/Nilgai
-Sloth bear
-Pere davids deer(Doubtful, since we got a deer last year)

South America:
-Brazilian tapir/Mountain tapir
-Collared peccary
-Chilean/James/Andean/American flamingo
-American crocodile
-Spectacled bear

North America/Canada:
-American black bear
-White tailed deer(Doubtful, since we got a deer last year)

Europe:
-Wild boar
-European bison
-Roe deer(Doubtful, since we got a deer last year)
I like the idea of the freshwater crocodile it compliments the base game saltwater croc, it is like the only other major croc in Australia and wouldn't be directly competing with headliners of the dlc

African leopard's my first hope and perentie's my second. Javan rhino's not my hope and can anyone guess why?

I honestly think this will be it a clone of something like the giraffe something divisive in the community where people would get mad if it was included in a paid pack but people still want it think like the Masai giraffe, American black bear or Eurasian brown bear something that doesn't really fill a new niche.
I also think that it would be something like the zebra or giraffe where there is only one variety of ingame to give a sense of choice and diversity.
my top picks
  • masai giraffe
  • american black bear or eurasin brown bear
  • lesser flamingo
  • another lion variety ie asiatic or barbary
  • freshwater croc
  • some kind of monitor lizard

this would be similar to the last 2 which were essentially reskins to add variety where adding these animals in a pack would probably not be received well due to similarity.

The red deer was a lot more substantial than a reskin even if it used an existing rig, which is why something like a second giraffe or zebra would kind of be a step backwards.
I mean I could see the girrafe if they add a feeding animation thing alongside. Same reason why I thought a Sumatran orangutan was possible before the most recent update, cause it'd be a great time to add orangutan brachiation.
