I think it's interesting to consider the options relative to what the vanilla roster has to balance it a bit.
I would be okay with any of the following:

- Grey crowned crane
- Helmeted guineafowl
- Lesser Rhea
- Andean bear
- American black bear
- North American river otter
- A new world monkey like red titi / squirrel monkey or tufted capuchin
I would love if it would be a bird or any monkey. American Flamingo, Roseate Spoonbill, even some kind of pheasant would be great. For the primates maybe a Squirrel Monkey would be a blessing.
African Spurred Tortoise would also be amazing, as we did not get any new tortoise since release. A new bear would also be great, we havent recieved one in a while.

I mean it's not just a reskin but it reuses the rig and animations of another animal. I wouldn't expect anything beyond that tbh.
Has there been any confirmation about another Anniversary update?
I have seen people mentioning Caribbean flamingo, which would be wonderful anniversary gift, but I would like to propose another flaming red bird - the Scarlet Ibis. It would be a very fun animal to have. I suppose it could use the Peafowl rig with some adjustements, yet it would be something we do not have yet.

Yeah sort of, people found that the game files has another animal slot for this year's anniversary update.Has there been any confirmation about another Anniversary update?

I think another flamingo would be a very nice pick for anniversary. I know the american one is highly requested but personally I wouldn't want it to take a slot from a dlc, especially in the place of a new type of bird (like the ibis) . Putting it as anniversary gift is a nice way to make everyone happy.
Had anyone knew or seen any hints or evidences somewhere? Hints or evidences of ruffed lemur and red deer being Anniversary ones before that happened? YouTube showed me Anniversary animals by surprise without conformation date shown.
It could be a bit too popular of a pick but I do wonder if the Markhor could work for an anniversary. It's similar to the red deer in that is an animal decently wanted but very similar to one we already have in game (fallow deer vs alpine ibex) but would fill a gap in the base game (deer vs caprine).
However I have a gut feeling we will get a caprine in DLC this year so I'm not sure they'd also add one for anniversary if that was the case.

I think if there was a credible hint we were getting the red deer we would have all known about it
No one expected to see red deer coming to Planet Zoo imo. The only hint was the deer sign and the topiary in the base game
Credible hint? Meaning?
A hint that comes from an official source whether hidden in the game files or a leaked message from frontier (which really doesn't happen) or even a hint in social media directly pointing to said animal. Speculation videos from youtubers talking about the most likely anniversary animals are not a good source, that's what we do here and have as much weight as if I was saying what animals could come.
I wish we could get one of the following ten animals:
- Golden Dnub-nosed Monkey
- Asian Golden Cat
- Père David's Deer.
- Tufted Deer
- Yellow-throated Marten
- Golden Pheasant
- Sika Deer
- Reeve’s Muntjac
- Francois Langur
- Eurasian Otter

I’d like to see either the Shoebill Stork or Golden Lion Tamarin added as the third anniversary animal.
Then I prefer/pick shoebill instead of tamarin.
No way we getting them as an anniversary animal. Maybe the otter but not the rest
