What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

I'm pretty sure I've never seen that before. Is that new?
A Food Enrichment Item?
Not quite. The carrot, for example, is a scenery piece from the Conservation DLC.

When I saw the gorilla sitting with its hand in that position I had the idea to press pause and place a carrot in exactly that position so it appears that the gorilla is holding it. I took a picture still on pause but the second I resumed the game, the gorilla moved and the carrot was left floating just above the ground.

@markun This is one of the best PZ screenshots ever made. I assumed that was the trick, but wasn't sure and oh gosh, am oh so said we don't have this actually in the game. But the pic looked so realistic I had to double check if you didn't sneak a RL picture in here.
Thank you! 😊 Something I’ve been thinking recently is that we could really do with some more realistic animal enrichment, food and feeding mechanisms as very often I try to hide them as much as possible.

Ok, explains why I've never seen that Carrot in the Game.
A Shame that it can't be eaten. It could be used by so many Animals. I love that it looks way more realistic than the Plastic Food from the Main Game, which I never use (except rarely the Watermelon because it looks the least bad from all of them)

Would absolutely love to see more Enrichment in the Game and that some of the already existing ones could be used for more Animals. For Example the natural Termite Mound

Quokkas done, here’s the video on that cause I don’t have any pictures at the moment.

I’ve moved the Flying Fox house in the zoo, I’m doing some touchups around it, then I can either do one of the 3 options:
  • Tasmanian Devils & Kiwi for Nocturnal House. I could do this now or I could save it for Halloween.

  • Finish the Penguin House. Outdoor area still needs to be completed. Definitely gonna get done by the next DLC though.

  • African Marshlands. Across from the Quokkas are a layout for a total of 3 wetlands/marshy type habitats. These will be for the Red River Hog (already done), Warthogs (they’re marshlands right?) and the one I’m most excited for, Lechwe. Cause it’s my favourite ungulate in the entire game.
Feel free to tell me which you’d like the see first. All of them are probably gonna get done by December (New DLC).

Just saw the video! Nice!

I think that the Nocturnal House would be great for Halloween, and that the Penguin House should be finished and then the Marshlands. All are great.

Yeah that was my thinking too, especially cause Africa is such a big area in the zoo and we’re almost done Oceania.

Of all 3 of these plans there will be 5 more episodes total, leaving just enough time before the next pack to make an enclosure for the anniversary animal, and a progress tour. What would I do without schedules lol.

Absolutely amazing. You did a really great Job😃👍
The new Plants look absolutely incredible

@CharlieXGaming Can I hire you to build underwater viewing areas for me? :ROFLMAO: I hate to build them.
I finished the Galapagos Giant Tortoise habitat and a Komodo Dragon Indoor habitat. Which means the "mixed" Beach-Part in Unity is now done. Oceania Beach Part next!

P.S. I know my vulcano area isn't realistic. I'm sorry. It's fake anyway, the architect was too lazy to look these things up.

Haven't done much in PZ because I'm currently trying to put together a desktop. I even bought a whole lot of 8 desktops just to get 1 working to upgrade it with RAM, Blu-ray DVD-ROM, and higher graphics. I've been waiting for 2 months to get this working, and hopefully this week I'll finally see what y'all see: high quality animals and stuff...

Also been playing Path of Titans lately. Suchomimus for the win, y'all. Hands down best dino in game (even if my real-life favorite is the duck-like Spinosaurus)
