Nobody's saying there's only one DLC left. Just that them starting up a TikTok account doesn't necessarily mean anything as far as support or upcoming DLC goes. It just means they want to promote the game on a very popular social media platform.
For me, it’s about how old they are. These are animals that were roaming the Eurasian steppe alongside Mammoths, Wooly Rhinos and Cave Lions. They are a modern day relic. Not to mention they look so majestic and imposing!
Theres quite a few people on the forum and YouTube saying there's only such dlc left, negative comments regarding the games future seems to be the way to grab attention these days. Hence my comment mockingly saying there's only one dlc left.
Both of these responses make me glad that I asked! Personal appeal and history will always make something more interesting. And I definitely agree that they're majestic. That just doesn't always translate into "fun to build for" to me.
Y'know. You're right! I feel like whenever I see a YouTuber saying there's only one left my brain autocorrects to "only one confirmed DLC left" and the forums have been crowded with "game's gonna die" comments since year 1 so... Yeah, I guess it's there. My brain just filters it out. Haha.
They opened a tiktok because it gives them access to a lot more costumers. Remember tgat most of the game's profits are still from people buying the base game, not the DLCs.

No there isn't (not here at least - I can't speak for the YouTubers because I don't watch their videos). There are people (like me) saying that "more PDLC in FY24" doesn't guarantee anything past winter or spring. Nobody is saying definitively that there is only one DLC left, just that there could be because literally nobody knows except Frontier.
The direct focus on the one dlc left statement is not the point. Either I'm seeing ghosts or every time someone has this discussion more and more people say oh no fy24 is the last year because frontier removed such folder from the files.
FY24 could very well be the last year. It's possible it isn't the last year, but I don't see how is it invalid to discuss this option or how likely it is.
It’s never invalid to discuss possible end of support. We know that we will at the very least get a winter pack, and since FY24 goes through the summer, I don’t think we have to worry about support ending quite yet.
