Winter 2023 DLC Speculation

How about if they give you this?
  • Coati (either)
  • Grey Fox or Raccoon Dog
  • Black Howler Monkey
  • Geoffroy's Spider Monkey
  • Ocelot
  • Any Tree Kangaroo
  • Wolverine (I think they climb trees?)
This would make my heart so happy! Admittedly, I'd prefer the raccoon dog over the grey fox though I feel like the latter is more associated with climbing...

But yeah. This would be incredible for me and ticks a lot of the boxes for what I'm hoping we get out of any remaining DLC.

Question for everyone: Do you prefer Raccoon Dog or Bush Dog?
I'd be happy to get either! (I don't have hope for another canid...)
However, If I have to choose, I am wholeheartedly on Team Tanuki!
Why? Its fluffy and adorable. We could use more Japanese Species. It looks unlike other dogs (aside from maybe my top wishlist animal, bat-eared fox) in its markings. It has a bit of culture (meme type) in being represented in Animal crossing.
Bush Dog. I like building for smaller animals, and while the tanuki is still small, I just like building for skunk size creatures. Plus more SA rep. It would be great to get both though

Raccoon Dog, but I wouldn't be unhappy with the Bush Dog. Though I have 3 to 4 other canines ahead of both of them.

Either. I am leaning towards Bush Dog but both would be awesome.

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I'd rather get WE flying birds than no flying birds at all.
WE flying birds were always my hope since I didn't really think we'd ever get habitat flying birds. A small part of me still hopes for WE flying birds but I'm very very skeptical of their chances at this point.

After this last pack it just seems like it isn't coming, I don't know what it was about this last pack...but every pack since this year started I've had less and less hope for them, and the Oceania pack just kind of all but erased it. FWIW a year ago I was a 100% "sure" exhibit flying birds were coming.

Whilst respecting free speech and civil discourse - as well as an understanding this is ultimately a cartoon zoo game and differing opinions of such a subject warrant a levelheaded reaction - I still must make it abundantly clear: if I hear any anti-duck rhetoric on this or any other thread, I will burn this forum to the ground.
You all have been warned and may God have mercy on your souls.

Flying birds again? Who has summoned me?

Fortunately, ducks and other waterfowl would probably still be a possible thing for Habitat species, if Frontier is so inclined to add more birds that are not ratites, penguins and the oddball inclusion of the Red Crowned Crane, in their DLC.

Truly, that last one is the really weird inclusion now. We had two iconic and staple birds that "could fly" in real life included in the base game. Since then ratites and penguins which both are their own thing so I get it, but why the RCC? Not that I'm complaining it just makes the whole decisions of what birds to include even more strange.

ETA: @Antimony96 - fantasticly funny image. Can can someone please do that for felines and antelopes?
