True, except that he doesn't look like a spectacled bear, he looks more like a brown bearSpectacled bears are well known and popular, they are literally Paddington one of the most famous fictional animals ever.
No, but we did get the lar gibbon for the Tropical pack, and most casual players call it a monkeyThere has never been a monkey as a pack mascot and geladas are extremely common in zoos.
YesDare I say monkeys![]()
I mean that’s not really a fair accusation when we only have one monkey in the whole gameThere has never been a monkey as a pack mascot and geladas are extremely common in zoos.
I would Not call the Gelada extremly Common. In Europe they are hold within 33 Zoos according to Zootierliste. I do Not know about the Situation in America or other continents but this is not that common. The Hamadryas Baboon for example is hold within more than 130 Zoos in Europe. Gelada could be a headliner. I do Not think it Looks too Close to the Mandrill and further the Mandrill was No headliner. But when I think of Mountains I really have no Monkey in my mind. And the Spectacled Bear might be popular but not more or less popular than other bears (polar Bear as an exception). Most people know Paddington but a lot of people do not know it shall be a Spectacled Bear. And as already said a few times before. Just because of its colorization it looks too similar to the Sun Bear. Thats why I think the Amur Leopard was Not the Headliner of Conservation Pack, too.I never meant to say a goat was impossible just extremely unlikely.

Kiwis and beavers are more well known than those animals in the uk at least
Meanwhile markhor are virtually unheard for the general public.
In the other two ungulates they were symbolic of their themes in a way a goat fails to capture.
The pain, who in the right mind thought 'this steep hill is a fine place for a zoo'.People do at Edinburgh zoo
Agreed 100%The pain, who in the right mind thought 'this steep hill is a fine place for a zoo'.
Eagles, bears, lynx, deer.I’ll put it this way, when you tell someone to think of the first animal that comes to mind that lives on mountains, they’re first initial idea would be to go for an animal that has mountain in the name. What would that be? Mountain Goat.
I’m not 100% ruling out the Gelada. But the main thing I’ve took from this is that the Spectacled Bear will not be the headliner, I’m extremely confident in that.
It would be a fun mascot for sureThere is one contender for the headline we haven’t gotten to yet-

But the main point is that it’s a goat, it doesn’t matter what species of goat it is, it just matters that it’s a goat. And the goats people think of are ibexes and Rocky Mountain goats
Those are the mountain goats, though. Which I want in the gameRocky Mountain goats
I prefer the mountain chicken![]()
I do not know. When I hear Bear, Lynx and Deer I First think of Forests and Not Mountains. And it does Not Matter which goat people are thinking about. For Most people a goat is a goat and they do Not Care that much about the actual species.Eagles, bears, lynx, deer.
And the goats people think of are ibexes and Rocky Mountain goats
Goat inclusion yes, not famous enough to be the mascot they’re just not popular enough outside forums. But the main point is that it’s a goat, it doesn’t matter what species of goat it is, it just matters that it’s a goat.
Oh man, that was so weird. The most asked for pig suddenly became hated, and honestly I still don't know why it was so dislikedLooks like the goat is becoming the red river hog. Even better chance for them to come![]()
We got an Armadillo as a headliner. So popularity really is not the point. I also would include the Beaver to the list which is a unique animal but Not the Most popular one one earth and WE got IT as headliner for NA.Goat inclusion yes, not famous enough to be the mascot they’re just not popular enough outside forums.
Anyway, we disagree so let’s drop it and move to the Pallas’ cat!
