Winter 2023 DLC Speculation

They keep them at the Highland Wildlife Park and Whipsnade
The one time I’ll allow itFrontier choosing between two ungulates:
Bare minimum for Asia:
1. Blackbuck
2. Pere David’s deer
3. Lowland anoa
4. Golden takin
5. Markhor
6. Muntjac/tufted deer
I don't want another proboscis monkey situation and I don't want a yak or a takin.
Give me a Watussi Cattle or a Highland Cattle, if we need another cow.
Apart from that: I randomly started to get incredibly excited for the winter DLC today and I don't know why. Absolutely no idea discussed for the Winter DLC appeals to me
I can't even come up with anything I'd love apart from a South Anerica / Latin America DLC, but here I am, suddenly looking forward like it will be an awesome DLC for me.

Come to New England and go to the Roger Williams Zoo. They’ve got Takins, They’ve got Tree Roos, They’ve got Asian Black Bears, They’ve even got Red Wolves!

My local Zoo in Stuttgart has Yaks. Would be a okay Addition for me. I think they could get enrichment with the Bactrian Camel.
No Problem with your opinion. But the Takin is the same amount a cow than the Musk Ox for example is. Both are goats even If they do not look typical goat Like (especially the Musk Ox)I don't want another proboscis monkey situation and I don't want a yak or a takin.

When it comes to goats though, I'd prefer the dwarf goat. I don't advocate for a petting zoo pack, but they are basically in every zoo, so yeah...

My top 10 ungulates would be from Europe and Asia alone (including the Muskox from these regions). I don’t see any more African or South American ungulates as NECESSARY, but if I had to pick two, it’d be those two sweethearts.
I really don’t mind if the takin or yak are added either honestly. I’d take a takin though over the domesticated yak. It would make a great animal choice. I know there is a lot of talk about Asian deer and other Asian animals but I think Asia is pretty well represented at this point. Not that I have anything against adding more Asian animals btw. As far as swine go I would take the wild boar but with four swine in game it’s pretty well represented. But If we do get a highlands pack that more then likely would add the takin and markhor anyway. Of course the mountain goat and bighorn are possibilities too which I don’t object. As for the highland cow the bulls are very impressive but really I don’t know if they stand much of a chance against their wild cousins. Assuming and going off the remaining tags in game the upcoming dlcs seem almost obvious which leaves certain animals questionable atp.

UNLESS we’re counting domestics. Then the African Dwarf Goat (though technically not a purely African species) is the top of my African ungulates list, and I’ll take the Kunekune Pig from Oceania!

To get Back to the topic one time:
As I was pretty convinced since more than half a year that Winter likely will be a Mountain based Pack I really can also see a Latin America Pack in the meantime. Mountains are still the Pack I See coming more likely. Both Packs would be great for Sure and both will have animals which I personally would Like to See very heavily within the Game. And then there are other animal candidates which would make me Happy, too. Nevertheless both Pack would be amazing and I am sure both would excite me whatever the animal choices would be at the end.
Why did this remind me of when I'd put in a VHS tape and the commercial would say: coming soon to video cassette (and I still used VHS tapes up until about a year ago)

About ungulates, while deer and some antelope are fine, I'd actually want Asian ungulates to focus on cattle. Europe has their deer, Africa their antelopes, but what about cattle?
The gaur, the yak, and the banteng are what I really want
