Winter 2023 DLC Speculation

It also depends on whether we are talking about petting while being in the same space as the animal or with a barrier between you and the animal.
In zoos you are typically allowed to walk in with the goats but not the horses but you can touch both of them.
I don't imagine we would end up with animations for both inside habitat interactions and for interactions with a fence between guests and animals.

I see the first most likely but i prefer the second because it would be cool if animals that are not safe for a petting zoo also interact with guests through a glass window or something.

Definetly alot of expected faces. basicly the only one that surprised me was the pheasant.

Funfact thats not the true number.
This is only for the wild form there are even more domestic variants not included in that number
If i allready tease you all like this, there are 124 registerd holdings of domestic breeds of golden pheasent, so adding that to the 582 of the wild form we get 706 EAZA holdings and a comfortable 7. Places on the total ranking

I could imagine new barrier attachment (like the walkthrough gate or dome enterance).

Interactive barrier - railing
Certain animals (llamas, fallow deer, hypothetical goats) would come to the railing and wait for head pats.

Interactive barrier - glass
More dangerous animals (big cats, apes) would come to the glass and paw at it.

I would activly hate that. The glass? Okay i guess fine but really barriers that arnt null really do feel like babys training wheel from the moment you actually grasp the game. They are ugly, unflexible and i just really hate the idear of any interaction being locked to pretty much a single specific piece of scenery, especally when the glass stuff should easily work with all glass pieces that stand straight so locking it to an ugly ass barrier type really does not sit right with me
