Should’ve said excluding waterfowl cause gonna be honest I completely forgot water birds existed for a sec and the only 2 animals that came to mind were turkey and road runner lol. Anything but those 2 I will welcome.

-Burrowing owl
-Roadrunner
-Wild and occelated turkey
-Sandhill crane
-Canada goose
-Atlantic puffin
-rosate spoonbill
-Brown pelican

Quick question to American players, are there any NA animals you view as essential that you don’t think us Europeans do?

The wolverine is essential to me, but also not solely a NA animal.

The American Black Bear is probably the highest profile NA mammal icon not in the game but I’m not sure I’d go so far as to call it essential.

Generally with how we throw around the term essential, the only kind of animal that can be classed as essential for North America would be a bird of some kind. We already have a bear, deer and other related animals but zero birds to back up some big name species.

I said I forgot about a couple I’m sorry people lol But out of the ones you listed I can only really say I would be interested in the Spoonbill.

Where's Burrowing Owl and Greater Roadrunner. Two of easily the most interesting North American ground birds taxonomically, visually, and behaviourally. Owl would also be a rep for South America as it has a larger range down there.

Aside from it, ringtail would be nice, but not a need.
