Today, I am putting a new mouse through its paces. A budget Logitech M510 to be precise. I've moved away from bluetooth and gone back to one with a USB dongle, the main reason being that I can't get my PC to wake from sleep via bluetooth peripherals. It's weird and damn irritating.
Anyway, this mouse has a couple of extra buttons which I've bound to select primary and secondary weapons.
I'm about to be dropped so let's see how it does...

I'm using MMO mice in ED for quite some time.
A Corsair Scimitar Elite initially - till the scroll wheel started to behave, then i moved to EVGA X15 - both wired mice with 18+ buttons (the X15 has more)
Having 10-12 side buttons (plus a shift button on X15, doubling the number of available binds) makes for a quite nice improvement in flying experience.
Sure, it takes a while to get used, but IMO it's worth the effort for the kb/m users
Today I reached the Pueliae Nebula AA-A H0. Here it sats like a lovely succulent planter pot atop an ELW, from 2400LY.
Inside I spotted a fleet carrier and got my important black paint fixed!

Anyway, my new mouse is pretty good and a bargain at £25.

Actually i find its layout for the side buttons is a bit more convenient than Corsairs or the rest of classic mmo mice with all 12 buttons on the side.
Sure, it may be a personal preference -but i find it better in this regard than the Corsair.
Sure, the 2 front side buttons are really hard to reach - but i bound there the wave and point emotes... so i dont wave my ship away by mistake
just reached CB-37 yes i know it been a few months since i took of from the bubble, but my excuse is the alt account is very buzy. shooting people with her new weapons.: usual things like base raiding.war zones fun and ship enhancements.
i do too, just not in the flyman suit of a ship called a courier
. mine is a viper mk III, it does have a srv but hey i can't be bothered to unpacked/repack the thing theses days

Would it be possible to play ED on playstion but use remote play on a laptop and have the hotas plugged into the laptop instead of the playstation itself? I hate running a USB extension across my living room while my german shepherd sprints across it lol
