Winter 2023 DLC Speculation

I honestly do think what people said may be right; that we might not get a livestream this year due to the layoffs. I reckon it might be likely we’ll just get a DLC and Update joint announcement post like we did for Oceania, just without the livestream this time.

That would be so sad I am feeling really anxious about that too. Really hope we do see our old friends - all happy and well and still employed. I feel like it would be such a bad move on Frontier's part. They do have this 'nurture portfolio' strategy and building community engagement is a big part of it, so I'm hopeful that they've kept all the resourcing for PZ in tact. But yeah, hopeful but anxious.

The only spanner in the works is the Jurassic World DLC release being on Thursday. I would’ve expected PZ to announce theirs earlier this week to leave enough time between the two events. I guess stranger things have happened though? Let’s see what the week holds

The wait for the winter DLC hasn’t felt this long since Australia to Aquatic
The Oceania pack was released so early for an Autumn DLC that the wait for this Winter’s pack feels agonising.

We have not seen a SoMe post from them in 4 days now. Before that they have been posting on an almost daily basis for a long time. Only one day breaks I believe. Feels like something is being planned.
