I doubt it. I don’t know if the developers are willing to break the sequence so soon. Maybe they can give it another year?

Guys, it's been so many times that anything they say in the days leading up to the DLC release can actually be ignored. Most of the content really has nothing to do with the upcoming DLC. We really only need to pay attention to the special live news.

I mean considering Frontier will die if they use a bird as an exhibit animal, what else could it be?

Last year they did a livestream build (I can’t remember the name of the special segment they called it) but it was just before the Twilight pack. The zoo that they were building was set around a dark/haunted castle, and they built specifically using a sunset timing on the map. I can’t remember the exact details, but I do remember this was before the Twilight pack was announced. We all jumped on it saying ‘nocturnal pack, nocturnal pack’ and people (like now) said ‘no! This will have nothing to do with the theme of the coming pack!’ Lo and behold, Twilight Pack with a haunted castle theme and crepuscular animals.
So whilst I’m not saying this challenge guarantees a tundra pack, it could certainly be a hint. It’s not unheard of that we’ve had hints previous to announcement!
I'd tend to agree with this! Each pack had at least 2-3 animals that were very high up on my wishlist. And the two scenery sets had a number of S-tier versatile building pieces that I use regularly now. The free updates were admittedly not the most exciting but I think that speaks to where the game is at in its development... There's more they could add but there's not much more that we need. And don't get me wrong; what they added was really great and useful! But it's just not going to feel as exciting in contrast to some of the other things we got earlier in the game.
The quality has in no way, shape, or form dipped in this past year and there's a lot more room to grow if it makes sense for Frontier to do so. Whether they do that or not is TBD. But the opportunity is there, even if they stop with the bigger updates and just continue with smaller DLC.
I don't know, TBH. I don't keep track of the Community Challenges... And I can't really find the ones people are talking about on their Twitter or IG right now but uh yeah... I'm not reading into it at all.
