Winter 2023 DLC Speculation

I don't understand why all of a sudden a lot of people are talking about a mountain scenery pack. If there is a theme for which we could easily imagine an animal pack it's mountain. Here is my personnal ideal roster for a mountain pack:

Palla's Cat (Asia)
Takin or Markhor (Asia)
Hamadryas baboon or Gelada (Africa)
Alpine Marmot (Europe)
Wolverine (Europe/N.America)
Rocky Mountain Elk (N.America)
Spectacled Bear (S.America)
Visacha or Chinchilla for a walkthrough habitat (S.America)

I don't expect such a pack to be released but I think it would be a really nice and diversified roster.

I particularly find this delay strange, I think we have reached the end.
Not yet we have confirmation that financial year 2024 with have support which mean at least this coming pack as well as the fact that there have recently been files updated for the game that are associated with dlc.

the reason people are saying scenery is that unless its coming on the 19th it is to late for whatever is coming to be an animal pack based on being able to tease animals.

Also no to the chinchilla its perfectly fine as a habitat animal not an exhibit

They coild always just show them all off aside from like 1 or 2 in the announcement trailer and then they only have to make like 2 posts.

ALSO. To those who say a Muskox does not belong in a Mountains/Highlands/Alpine Pack…

I can actually find as much (if not more) evidence of Muskox living in what we would consider a ‘Mountains’, ‘Alpine’ or ‘Highlands’ environment than Markhor, most Takin species, Wolverine, Spectacled Bear, Hamadryas Baboon, and many other top ‘Mountain Animal Pack’ picks.

I know I'm the one pointing out the musk ox does not belong in the mountains pack because its an arctic tundra animal by nature. Those pictures are musk ox in the dovrefjell national park in Norway where they are reintroduced because of the similar climate to the arctic tundra, I believe its the only example of musk ox permanently living in such mountainous regions.

No, they live under the same conditions in Sweden as well but I get your point. If it's a mountain pack there are plenty of animals that suits it better, even though the Musk Ox is highest on my wishlist.

Well it depends. If we do get both Tundra and Mountains pack then sure leave musk ox out for the other pack. If this is our last cold weather pack then gimme to.me but also takin 🧐
