Where I'm from, Santa is from GreenlandGiftshop -> Christmass Gifts -> Santa Claus -> Lapland -> Tundra Pack
I did thought it was a cultural thing. There you go. I thought Lapland wasn't a real place for so long because of its association with Santa.Where I'm from, Santa is from Greenland
For me, at least, the restaurants were actually nicely implemented. The size is manageable/reasonable, at least. My only "gripes" are that I wish the wall opposite the counter could be made null and that we had more options for tables. But other than that... I like the implementation. It better not be 3 but that's what I'm fearing how the gift shops will work, it will just be another entry into the hall of great idea but poor execution. 2 in theory allows for guests to truly interact with the gift shop items but has another large ugly teleporting building that is difficult to hide in a realistic build. 1 is the ideal version, separate scenery pieces that could be connected to the shop counters allowing for both custom builds and guest interaction.
10/10 RosterLive streaming confirmed next monday? Please Frontier, MAKE LATIN AMERICA GREAT AGAIN
- Coati
- Tamandua
- Ocelot
- Holwer monkey
- Spider monkey
- Rhea
- Mara
- Macaws (very unlikely)
From the photo, I can see hats, balloons, plushies, toy box sets, umbrellas and mugs. I really hope that we get things like plastic animal toys too, as well as posters, postcards, keyrings, water bottles and magnets. This would be a great range of gift shop items in my opinion. How about we talk about what gift shops could potentially sell. Plushies, mugs. What designs would they have? Animal species they'd showcase?

This pack would undeniably be a 10/10 for me! I'm not particularly keen on the rhea and would prefer any number of other options (e.g., tamarin, bush dog, spectacled bear) but... It would be great, regardless!Live streaming confirmed next monday? Please Frontier, MAKE LATIN AMERICA GREAT AGAIN

That's awesome, bring this to the gameFrom the photo, I can see hats, balloons, plushies, toy box sets, umbrellas and mugs. I really hope that we get things like plastic animal toys too, as well as posters, postcards, keyrings, water bottles and magnets. This would be a great range of gift shop items in my opinion.
Iâve also chosen a few animals from the base game and one from each DLC that I hope we see a plushie of:
⢠Lion (confirmed)
⢠Tiger (generic Tiger)
⢠Giant Panda
⢠African Elephant
⢠Ring Tailed Lemur
⢠Pygmy Hippopotamus (generic Hippo)
⢠Polar Bear
⢠Red Eyed Frog (confirmed)
⢠Koala
⢠King Penguin
⢠Proboscis Monkey
⢠Meerkat
⢠California Sea Lion
⢠European Badger
⢠Capybara
⢠Axolotl
⢠Striped Skunk
⢠Red Necked Wallaby
⢠Brown Throated Sloth
⢠African Crested Porcupine
⢠North Island Kiwi
My assumption would be that if you have the DLC, youâll get the plushie in game. It would give people more incentive to buy the DLC, to complete the âplushieâ set.
I agree. I remember I'm Zoo Tycoon 2 where guests would buy souvenirs, but only a souvenir of a species that was present in the zoo. Hopefully they add this feature into the game (although, thinking about it, gift shops have souvenirs of animals that aren't actually on said zoo, necessarily)Yes letâs do this
Iâm hoping we will get some new hats varietyâs . I find it odd when someone is wearing a rhino hat in a zoo that doesnât have rhinos, therefore I can pick hats of animals I have in specific zoos.
Maybe we will see children holding their plushies while walking around the zoo.
Oo backpacks could be a thing.
Maybe the gift shops will function like this: you can have shelves, highlighted areas that make up the gift shop that guests will browse and look at, they will use the stand like normal food stands.
While we see balloons and hats in the teaser, I think thatâs just to show where things can be placed not a true hint that are getting new lions, frogs and chimps etc.
I am not gonna start guessing animals until the livestream as we really donât have anything to go off of other then fan speculation
It looks like the 'books' on the shelves are actually puzzles or board games. That would be great! But I really hope there are placeable books too, I'm constantly making bookshelvesHow about we talk about what gift shops could potentially sell. Plushies, mugs. What designs would they have? Animal species they'd showcase?
That's a good point. It's not uncommon to see animal books, encyclopedias, and even zoo history books to be seen in gift shops, so having books is a possibilityIt looks like the 'books' on the shelves are actually puzzles or board games. I wonder whether it will be number 2 or number 3 and we also get items as construction pieces so we can flesh out our own layouts even if the construction pieces canât be interacted with. This combination would be ideal.I am soooooo excited to finally get gift shops. Seems like 3 ways it could be done - 1. Everything placeable and just props added to construction pieces. 2. A mechanic similar to the restaurant - one main counter and the units can be connected and placeable where you want them (similar to tables). 3. Itâs a set layout with limited customisation (like the Walkthrough Exhibit). Which one do you think it is and which is more preferable? Iâm intrigued to see how much guests can interact with the units.
Two monkeys, two birds, and two reptiles? Even if it is more âAfrican animalsâ that would be my dream pack in roster diversity. I wouldnât personally be excited for the honey badger, but I would love the kudu.Imagine we're wrong and it's something like:
Congo animal pack
- Black-and-white colobus
- Slender snouted crocodile
- De Brazza's monkey
- Greater kudu
- Ratel/Honey badger
- Helmeted guineafowl
- Congo peafowl
- Gaboon viper (E)
I was thinking that, too, as I posted it. It's our dream pack, except African, not South AmericanTwo monkeys, two birds, and two reptiles? Actually I prefer bush dog than mara, but I realized the second one is very popular here with the community so I made this substitutionThis pack would undeniably be a 10/10 for me! Also: I thought "Latin America" when I looked at the general vibe of that screenshot. I know we can't look too hard into the theming/scenery of these screenshots (as they don't always/don't usually relate) but... That's what came to mind when I saw it!
