Winter 2023 DLC Speculation

Okay my ratings for this pack are:
Sloth Bear 10/10 - Hello Baloo! my favourite bear, now I've got all the necessities I can really rest-at-ease (but we still need Indian monkeys). I know it's not everyone's first choice of bear but it was mine! Something about how extra floofy they are just gets me. And I can't wait to see them carrying their cubs! Hope the other bears get this animation too. I don't use the other bears much but this is going to be one well-loved teddy.
Wild Boar 10/10 - what a huge surprise! I've wanted these for years, I cannot wait to put them in all my European sections. My hope for it died with the peccary, so I squeaked (squealed?) when I saw it in the video! This will be the first animal I add from the new pack as I'm building a Northern European forest right at the moment.
Mute Swan 10/10 - Another wonderful surprise! I simply cannot wait to see its beautiful wings unfurl. Also going straight into my current build. Will be so much fun to build ponds and lakes now, I can't wait to see what people do with them. I hope they have some interspecies bonuses and that they signal more waterfowl in our future.
Wolverine 10/10 - an essential pick, also on my wishlist. What a fierce and funny character! Images look gorgeous so far, another piece of perfection from Frontier.
Wisent 9/10 - A really beautiful beast and for us Europeans the American prairie-dweller just doesn't feel right! It looks impressive in the promo pics.
Takin and Saiga 7/10 - I'm really happy for all the people who desperately wanted these and I'm happy to have them in the pack. I don't know much about either of them but they'll definitely help to expand and diversify our North Asian sections and I bet they'll look great! I do like the Saiga's funny shnout and the Takin's golden fur.
Tortoise 5/10 - Really happy to have this guy, I just wish he could live outdoors. It would be so so much better if exhibits were modular and could have null walls and ceilings...that would bring this straight up to a 10/10.
What's missing from this pack? A monkey! But otherwise, perfection

Next spring is highly likely to be related to the rainforest, and it is definitely closely related to South America. I only hope that next year, with the availability of birds, there will be more monkeys. Can you imagine that we got 3 birds 10 ungulates this year but only one gibbon？

You know, seeing as how we got something relatively mid compared to highly demanded South America, it's interesting to me that we got the Eurasia pack instead. This sounds to me like it's Frontier's way of telling us that we're still gonna get DLC, but they wanted to get some request outta the way 1st. So, next year we may get some more popular choices in more popular packs. But we'll just have to see
Exactly. We just had a dedicated pack for only African animals, then Oceania, now Europe and Asia in one go. I'm pretty sure that we'll continue with the continental route for a bit and will see an America focus for the next update.

Could be, yeah. I mean, those animals alone are quite popular. I could picture either one to be the headliner for a DLC

Unfortunely both Frontier and some community members cant notice something as simple.
Well, per usual the community was incredibly right and completely wrong at the same time. Got some species correct and the pack (holistically, at least) has a "cooler" vibe to it than anything else this year but...The theme was way off for most people's picks.
Really pleased with this roster, though! Way better than anticipated following the stream yesterday. So stoked!

No, I just can't accept it. I need another winter DLC to have a Tundra pack with walrus, musk ox, arctic hare and snowy owl. And I know this kind of DLC ain't comming in spring, summer or fall :|
Call me an optimist, but I have my fingers crossed for another year of support so we can get that tundra pack!
