But we still can speculate what they choose even when it does Not Change their decision. And I seriously doubt that they Look a Lot into These big discussion Threads. One Side is that only a minority of the Forum members are Posting regularry and on the other Side they also have to please other parts. Wishlists and potentially Mod Download Numbers are at least a Bit more valid information sources which is wanted.
I am sure Frontier knows that a Lot of people want Flying birds and more small Monkeys. But I am also Sure they have their reason to Not integrate them. Be it for a Potential sequel which needs a selling Point (Flying birds) or technical reasons (again perhaps Flying birds and Monkeys as the climbing mechanism really does Not Work that Well)

Well, probably the next DLC is gonna be a scenery, so I think that is better to make a Mountain Pack than a Pack about latin america or Amazon which needs more animals than construction pieces. This Eurasian dlc covered some "Mountains animals" that the pz community wanted, now It is easy to complete the list of requested animals with a Scenery dlc:

  • Markhor
  • Gelada
  • Spectacled Bear
  • Pallas' Cat
  • Giant chinese salamander
After this Scenery pack, for the Fall DLC I think it's the decisive oppotunity and maybe the Last one to frontier make an animal Pack about animals from central and south America. Latin America Pack is the best concept to include them:

  • Coati
  • Ocelot
  • Tamandua
  • Howler monkey
  • Spider Monkey
  • Patagonian Mara
  • Greater Rhea
  • Green anaconda

Nearly the Same what I would Wish. I would Switch the frog for the second Sloth and perhaps the tamarin for the Spider Monkey. But thats Personal preference.

This isn't usually a problem for me, I like to see species we don't have in the game and start dreaming, but here the South American situation is quite problematic. But at this point I think we all are pretty confident that Frontier will give us what we expect.

  • spectacled bear (andean representation)
  • greater rhea (last major group of ratites)
  • southern tamandua (anteater variety)
  • azara's agouti (rodent diversity)
  • roseate spoonbill (birb)

Easy peasy, I would take the 6 first ones and the Southern Tamandua as the last pick because I'm not a fan of the Greater Rhea (but I wouldn't complain either if it enters the game, especially if the rest of the roster is the top 6). As a walkthrough exhibit I would hope for either macaws (different colors) or the prehensile-tailed porcupine.
