Can anyone tell me why we can't get a deer?

I am a person who likes deer, but I will limit my choices to 5 types, which are:
1、Pere David deer
2、Tufted deer
3、Reeve’s Muntjac
4、White-lipped Deer
5、Sambar

We have No dwarf antelopes for example. It is at the same level needed as a small Deer for example. A Common Asian antelope, the Blackbuck, one of the Most Common Zoo animals is also missing. There are also several goat species and in this case we even have less than deers within the Game at the moment. I mean at the end we all have to Accept what we get . And then everybody can decide If he or she buys the Pack or Not.

Is there any problem with having fewer goats than deer? There are just not as many types of goats as there are deer in nature.

I love deer. And whilst I am a European player who LOVES European rep, I think the fact that we only have European/North American deer is a bit strange. I would love, at a bare minimum:
• Elk (Wapiti)
• Pere David’s Deer
• Reeve’s Muntjac (or any Muntjac, but Reeve’s preferred)

Other options that would be great are:
• Sika Deer
• White Tailed Deer
• Chinese Water Deer
• Southern Pudu

I agree with what you said to a certain extent. But I still think that antelopes and goats combined, only 4 species are enough.

Your point is fine yeah we are missing more goats/sheep and an asian antelope would be fine I guess. My point was mainly literally every dlc bar the 3 that it would of been almost impossible to add them to aquatic, australia, oceania have at least one ungulate for some packs its over half the roster. I am tired of them and carnivorans (which are in all but 1 dlc) making up almost everything we get in the game.
What ungulates I actually think need representation includes deer and thats it we have enough antelope and caprines even though more unique ones would be nice they arent necessary. I also think adding both the fallow deer and red deer was an extremely weird decision since they mostly fill the exact same niches as each other adding an american or asian deer would have been much more impactful and im sorry but the moose even though it technically is a deer doesnt feel like a deer so we really only have 3 animals that fill deer niches same as caprines.

There is the moose, fallow, red and reindeer, there are only the ibex, dall sheep and now the takin.

We need more caprids as well.

I still want the muntjac and the Pere.

Then the Musk Ox and the Markhor, maybe Mountain Goat and Barbary.

I only want two deer, there isn’t many ungulates I need left.

The deer being a muntjac species, and peere David’s deer. Otherwise I’m fairly content, and despite being from North America I don’t need the white tailed deer.

One of my dream habitat builds:

1. Red panda
2. Golden pheasant
3. Reeves muntjac

Always wanted to make that.

We so need peere David’s deer, its like the Wisent, a conservation miracle . I think this theme suits PZ's vision.

I'm not really the biggest deer fan. I'll take more, but the only one I really would enjoy would be the wapiti, and I guess a small deer would be nice as well.
Caprines are my real want though. Barbary Sheep, Markhor, even the Musk ox I'll take.

I'd love to get the Roosevelt Elk. Other than that, there's really no other species of deer that I particularly want.
