What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

Today I decided to create a logo for a project that I've been having in mind for a long time. I used an AI logo generator and I obtained nice designs. I will choose one that I will put on some screens in the park I plan to build (yeah, I have to start from zero). Here are 3 of the logos that I obtained :)

The first one with the zebra is definitely my favorite as it si ths most sophisticated but the one with the toucan is not bad either.

If some of you like the idea and want to do the same, I used Looka.

Still far from finished but put some hours in the African Savanna. Picture below was the starting point. Besides the main exhibit I've added an exhibit for Nile lechwes. Also placed the ostriches in the main exhibit and using there old exhibit now for Crested porcupines. Since they are a lot smaller they are fitting the exhibit better.

After adding some foliage and rocks, it is starting to look something. Also created multiple custom walls to hide the games original ones. You can still see a gap on the lift side, that one still has to be filled up. Together with more foliage/rocks/decoration alongside the exhibit. The guest can see them mostly from the indoor barn of the giraffes. Unfortunately I had to make the entrance of this barn two wide, because else the giraffes wouldn't be able to enter the barn.

For the main exhbibit all the walls are finally put in place. Only still need to finish the indoor shelter for the Thomson's gazelles and ostriches.

This is currently the overview of the zoo and my complete African section. Five "normal" exhbibits and one walkthrough exhibit with Egyptian fruit bats. The right open space will be probably used for 1 large exhibit or two smaller ones. I'm mostly thinking to create a large section for black rhinoceros. Three separate exhibits with in the center a large indoor part were guests can also enter and see the indoor stables for these giants. Two exhibits will be puth against the path and a third one will be backstage. This way we can keep two females and one male.

Anyone ever reached 1000 coolers in their zoo before? I feel like this is far too many built throughout the megapack blueprints. Also pictured in the largest amount of coolers fans on a single AC unit, the 20 fan cooler unit for only the heaviest of cooling tasks.

Thats the final boss for when you want to build an polar bear exhibit in the sahara :D

I started working on the outside of my Amazon House (which also means the interior will be shaken up a bit), and decided to add some rainbow benches and colourful pots to make it look a bit brighter. For this part, I deviate a bit from my usual style, as I loved the images I found of Washington's National Zoo Amazonia House, even though it may not fit perfectly with the Indonesian location of my zoo, but I'll try to blend it in somehow.

I love so much about it...
The Plaza in the front, the way the tree blends in with the building, the potted plants, the diagnoal archway... Heck, I didn't even knwo you can use those european window pieces in a natural way that makes sense!

After sending in my pictures yesterday I noticed some gaps where I knew I had placed buildings. Opened my savegame just now and found out that my restaurant (including the building I made around it) and also the smaller shops are gone.

Did anybody else had something like this before? All is deleted. The path, building pieces, the buildings themselves and other random scenery I put on the buildings...

I've seen it countless times before but not sure what the exact cause is, maybe a saving error is at fault.

Save often. That’s my advice. Also if you make a large amount of progress you may want to blueprint it just in case. I never do that but it can be done.

Coming very close to the end of Parc Le Bolle. Only a few South American species remain, to be placed bottom right next to the lake. To be honest, it's always been the most daunting part of the park for me, as 1) I think a South American DLC is coming up which might mess with my plans and 2) I have had an idea for a huge monkey jungle around and over the river, and it's such an ambitious thing that I can't wrap my head around it.

Then the lake needs some beautification and swan residents. Then close off the zoo with a nice fence + forest. Then it's onto the deserts of Africa for an entirely new sandbox zoo! I think I want to record a zoo tour for this zoo, I've worked so hard on it.

That is some awesome zoo! Would be lovely to see the tour for this one. Also nice work with the roads/buildings around the zoo.
I will say right away the roads and buildings are a blueprint from the workshop. :) The picture doesn't really do justice to the ludicrous piece count in some of these habitats, though I still have my shortcomings - making realistic looking buildings is one of them, and also I don't have the patience to build decent climbing rigs. O_O

Added a outdoor part to my raccoon barn. I do like that it looks like something more recent got build onto something old. Also really a fan of those cluttered overgrown habitats.
Still lacks some signage, which im to lazy to start working on :D

I like the water, how did you do it right up against the path like that? I think someone has explained it before but can’t remember.
