Jurassic World: Chaos Theory News!

(Probably not important)

We now have the name of the Becklespinax in the show. The name of it is: 'Brunette'.

(I also hope the artwork instead of the video will be made public again after the release.)

The information actually comes from a pre-order page for the upcoming Battle Roar Becklespinax toy (which was announced in late January) on an Australian shopping website. The page is no longer available, but a YouTuber, where I found that info from days ago, was able to take a picture of it, showing the dinosaur apparently has a named called "Brunette".

@Jurassic Tyrant King looks like we know what colour the Becklespinax would be in Chaos Theory.

Ben said someone was hunting them; who do you think is hunting the Nublar Six?
No idea. It could be Mantah Corp, like Daniel again, or even someone else that’s a higher power than him but still part of that company. It could be some other kind of corrupt power nobody knows about yet.

But with those Atrociraptor individuals from Dominion in America, Soyona is likely involved in some way, but even I don’t believe she’s the main threat. I don’t think they’re going to have her as the main antagonist, and that it’ll be an original character coming to or from the Camp Cretaceous-Chaos Theory storyline. Just like how all of the main antagonists of the previous show were original dino and human characters, and not the ones seen in the main, live-action, storyline.

Either way, this conspiracy is summarized in the synopsis as a major threat to both the dinosaurs and humanity alike. So, whoever is hunting them is extremely dangerous.

I was just going to share this news myself.

Today a new trailer has released today.

The rest of the Nublar Six are indeed returning: Kenji, Sammy, Brooklyn, and Yaz. However, Brooklyn is believed to have been killed by whomever is after them, but I do have my skepticism on that.

It also reveals much about the dinosaurs showing up in this season. Aside from the retuning dinosaurs, it also sees the debuts of Pachyrhinosaurus, and Becklespinax (which looks just like the now fully revealed toy).

The funny thing is, I actually suspected that Pachyrhinosaurus was going to be in the show for real because of a McDonslds card someone got which had a CGI looking Pachyrhino. Unfortunately, I’m at work, so I can’t show much, but I did save the picture, which reveals more dinosaurs, now undoubtedly, that will appear as well. So, I’m gonna show it here in the next eight to nine hours.

On the other hand, someone dangerous is definitely after them, and what appears to be illegal dinosaur shipping or trading to parts unknown that apparently Brooklyn was tracking. Maybe those people are who’s after the guys? This show really does have a darker theme than previously thought months ago, before the previous teaser trailer.
What I do want to find out is this: Is Brooklyn truly dead, or is she still alive and out there somewhere, either out hiding or kidnapped by whomever wants to get them?

Turns out, there’s a third debuting dinosaur that I missed. I thought I saw something about the sort, but I didn’t pay attention to it because of work, until now. But, it turns out, though no actual action-figure is revealed, Suchomimus is also in the trailer!

The earliest X post I could find, uploaded by Chris of Jurassic Outpost.

And I know this is Suchomimus because there are official mini-figures released for Chaos Theory, whose toy and accompanied card artwork closely resembles the animal in the trailer. First shown online through this showcase video by a collector on YouTube.

While no normal Sucho toy is announced/revealed yet, this and everything else shown in the trailers (Atrociraptor, Becklespinax, and pachyrhinosaurus) is irrefutable proof of the rumor of those said four dinosaurs appearing as both toys and on-screen dinosaurs in-the-flesh in Chaos Theory.

Now, that video does include CT minis that do have Pachyrhinosaurus with a different design, Bumpy, as well as the Giganotosaurus. But that leaves more questions than answers about their legitimacy being in the actual show, along with other Mattel stuff I’ve come across in the past month. So, I won’t share more on the details until I’m finally off work with that other image I’ll share later.

Another long elaboration:
GKYV4-0XgAAw6UA.jpg
Here is the image I found on X and saved as a reference. It was taken from a video by ProC. The image is a set of several McDonalds toys for the new show. Among the dinosaurs are Parasaurolophus, Nasutoceratops, and Pachyrhinosaurus. Since they all have CGI-looking models, and the Pachyrhino looks just like the Mattel toy in terms of head shape, it gave me a good indicator that these are actual models that'll be used in the show.

Now, with the new trailer out, I can confirm that I was right for the Pachyrhinosaurus, and undoubtedly the others.

Recently, I've found the other CT toys I came across shared on YouTube. They show, Ankylosaurus, Pteranodon, and Dimorphodon. So, three more dinos. Some say that's Bumpy because of the coloring and the supposed small spike on the back left side of the head, even though the card doesn't say so (unless it mentions her on it somewhere within the blurred quality of the image, or it just doesn’t even when it’s supposed to be her), but I guess it's safe to assume she's returning too. But how exactly they'll do that, since Bumpy was left on the now former Mantah Corp owned island, I don't know. But I think maybe Big Eatie was in the trailer too...

As for the mini toys I shared in the video earlier today, I must correct myself and everyone reading this that they are not Mattel toys, but Captivz toys. And because of this, I've gotten a few questions I have settled than before, earlier this morning for me.

Through my research, Captivz's mini toys are not too much like the main toylines where they include dinosaurs not featured in the films they directly market. Instead, when they do market a specific media like Dominion or Camp Cretaceous, all of their dinosaur species and characters are those that do appear in whatever respective show they're marketing and themed on, with the chance of some exceptions from what I can tell. The Dominion line includes Spinosaurus, even though there aren't any in that movie.

I do, however, caution whether it's like what I said about exceptions, or if it has expanded to include more, thus breaking the usual way of adding dinosaurs and designs. In this case, Giganotosaurus and the Pachyrhinosaurus that clearly doesn't have the show's head design. The latter case may be just an artistic design choice, as with the colors of Tiger seen in the same video whose green instead of orange like their artwork card and elsewhere in the franchise.
Pictures I captured and cropped from the video:
Untitled1.png
Untitled2.png

(I guess the same can be said for Ceratosaurus and Parasaurolophus Lux, because we don't know about those yet, definitively.)
Now, before anyone can get started on the artwork, this is what Chris from Jurassic Outpost, who is also a marketing associate for Jurassic such as for the first three seasons of Beyond the Gates, said in a comment in that same video, pinned by the uploader:
"For those here wondering about the Captivz JWCT art: I collaborated with the incredible artist Jaroslav Kosmina on these cards. We basically knew nothing about the show outside of dino designs and made up 99% of the scenarios, so don't expect them to be scenes in JWCT. Glad people like em!"

Lastly, when it comes to wondering how many dinosaur species will be included in the new TV series overall. Scott Kreamer, the showrunner for both CC and CT, said in interviews for the former show, that he wanted to add other species that didn't actually appear in that show, but they couldn't do it because of insufficient given resources. The previous series had only 24 dinosaur species total from Season One to Hidden Adventure, not including the Lux Paras because they're just Parasaurolophus with the bioluminescent gene. So, who knows how many Chaos Theory will have at the end of the day? Much more than Camp Cretaceous? I don't know, so I can't say much more on that.

And that's my long elaboration.

By the way, this is the fully revealed Becklespinax toy I mentioned earlier today:

One last important thing I want to bring up at the moment, that I first noticed hours ago.

It's true, Brooklyn's voice actor, Jenna Ortega, isn't returning to voice the character. But so is Kenji's voice actor, Ryan Potter. Instead, actor Darren Barnet will be the one voicing Kenji in for Chaos Theory.

The only reason why I’m bringing this up is because there are certainly a number of people like hardcore fans online and news website article writers using Ortega's absence as definitive evidence or, at the very least, high probability evidence, of Brooklyn's status as "deceased", as well as the wording of the show's premise. Some films I know of have also done something similar too, when the original actor dies or is busy in their schedulings, the character they voiced or played is absent in one way or another.

But, in truth, it isn't. Because Kenji's original voice actor isn't returning either, yet the character himself is still active. They even had another actor replace Lewis Dodgson's original actor from Jurassic Park for Dominion and onward. I know what some shows did because of what I said, but just because some did it the ways they did, doesn't mean everyone will or should. Plus, article headlines like the one I shared above aren't always 100% accurate, because the article writers are human like us, in the sense that they’re left in the dark as much as we are when they don't get any internal info on the subject in question, as I do believe is the case for here. Thus, they purely speculate and/or jump to assumptions/conclusions. Lastly, even premises of "supposed character deaths" of upcoming media can sometimes reveal that the character in question is still alive at the end of the day.

And who knows who’s voicing Brooklyn this time around, in the trailer, and undoubtedly in the show itself? I believe she’s not voiced by Ortega herself, but by another actress. Some, including articles like the one above say it’s probably because Ortega has a busy schedule overall. But, it could be or also be because they wanted a different voice for some of the character’s older selves and ultimately decided on this move for both her and Kenji to achieve that, even though the rest of the guys have the same CC actors. I’m sure Brook’s voice actor will be credited in the credits once the series airs, so I’ll bring any information on that up when it does.

So, the jury of Brooklyn's actual status is still ambiguous. It's a mystery I want to find out, but I will say that I am skeptical of her being actually dead, because it doesn't have the vibes to tell me so. Not yet at least.

Who knows she may voice as Brooklyn in the next Season?

Stygimoloch is appearing in the show thanks to the below video.

That footage is from this video on X, posted by DreamWorks Animation.

It's full confirmation that several returning dinosaurs from Camp Cretaceous are returning, including the Parasaurolophus Lux. It also confirms Stygimoloch for the first time in an animation series. It's also true confirmation that Bumpy is indeed back and confirming the blue Ankylosaurus in the shots and marketing stuff to be her. The question though is this: How and why did Bumpy, and Big Eatie as seen in the trailer, get sent out from Mantah Corp's former island and onto the mainland?

The funny this is, there is actually a CT toy set that I knew of since last month, but I saved it until more full confirmation was available to share. It contains Stygimoloch, Dimrophodon, and Carnotaurus. Since Stygimoloch is in the show, I can say this is confirmation on that. With the other two dinos, I can safely say so because of the style Mattel has done with dino packaging styles like this for Camp Cretaceous in the past as I explained earlier in this thread.

Here is some more stuff that came out over time.
2024kenji.jpg
2024beckle.jpg
  • This package with Kenji not only has an Atrociraptor, but also has, as I saw in other photos of the back of the box with the description of it, a baby Velociraptor, so I guess that species is also returning.
  • The Becklespinax toy doesn't actually have the name "Brunette" on it, contrary to what that Australian pre-order page ProC found before said. While Kentrosaurus and some of the Rex toys for CC were implied to be the Eaties' didn't have names on their boxes, it's hard to tell if the Beckle actually does or doesn't have a name for real.
There is something else I found several weeks ago too, but because of how "big" their toys are, I want to wait and see if there will be any confirmation of these other two species Mattel are releasing will be included in the show, likely in future seasons if any.

One last thing. Earlier this week I found out that the Pachyrhinosaurus figure by Captivz is indeed just a mere design choice for it, because the card artwork is the design from the series itself.

I have a feeling Dark Jurassic has something to do with this. After all, that site does track the location of Dinosaurs.

Also, I have a feeling Brooklyn faked her own death & that she's the one who blew the whistle for the Atrociraptors. (The whistle sounded very similar to the Flying Scotsman's.)
