Well it is very simple. My limpets are done 2-3 seconds after the rock is empty. You can see how in the video (Video's I hardly ever make or upload.. So that is why it is not a normal youtube link and I am sure there is a lot missing with my lack of editing)I've done a lot of mining; I've developed my analysis and methods myself. I don't think I have anything to learn by watching videos about it. (And I don't like "learning" games by watching videos).
If you think there's anything in the video which invalidates my arithmetic above, feel free to tell me how I've slipped up.
Mining can be deepEven with 10, I wait for them to finish work after an asteroid is depleted. The bottleneck for mining efficiency is always collector limpets.
No matter what i already like the nickname Forklift for it.I wonder about the full name. What's it going to be? Type-8 Forklift?
That's interesting, what's making the difference?Well it is very simple. My limpets are done 2-3 seconds after the rock is empty. You can see how in the video (Video's I hardly ever make or upload.. OK, I'm aware of all that.I am not aware of the reduction in speed having a big impact
The trick is to get the correct position so the fragments go under the ship. You want to do this with slow rotating rocks or in the center of the rotation. The rotation dictates where the fragments float to. Another thing is the lasers. Fragments will spawn where the (first) laser hits. If you have bad convergence as in a t9 for example you want to start one laser and add the ones with bad convergence on the second trigger. On my cutter build I sacrifice the huge slot on the bottom to fit a mining laser. I am picking up all the fragments.
Lakon's always been Alliance.Lakon was bought over by the Alliance a few years ago so maybe there's a change in the chief designer.
Or something.

Player Group Alliance Elite Diplomatic Corps hosted the CG to bring the DBX into the game.
At least FD had the decency to flip the ship upside down!
Not the first time either, the Krait 2 is an upside down Vulture.
Exactly what I thought when I saw the grey box version. The SF Manticore to be precise. It looks like a Descent Freespace shivan ship. It's not Elite, but it will be fun nontheless. Go go game director Zac.
If cockpit view was important, explorers wouldn't be out in Anacondas, would they? (I guess someone has to like the awful thing!)FDev can give it a good jump range, since the poor cockpit view makes it a bad exploration ship.
It fits on a Medium pad, but it may be like the Cutter / Beluga on large pads, and that fit is "only just"...It's hard to get a sense of scale, but given how big the T9/T10 cockpit is, this could easily be a Large ship.

That would allow room for a decent amount of cargo (better than a Python, though probably not as much as a T10), while having a better performance than the T9/T10.
