The cabin and the view from it are not quite the same thing.I believe that FDev is reusing the exact same cockpits from the predecessor ships in order to save design work. I would imagine it's not a trivial task to create an entirely new cockpit, or even take an existing one and drastically change it eg. to make it smaller.
In the two previous new ships the cockpits have been identical to that of the corresponding predecessor ships, so it's quite likely that the trend will continue here. It also gives credibility to this that at least from the outside the Mamba and the Mandalay cockpits look exactly identical.
(That being said, there might also be some indications that they might change the cockpit somewhat after all. Primarily: This is an exploration ship, not a combat ship, and the Mamba cockpit has no visibility downwards and poor visibility to the sides. For a top-of-the-line exploration ship competing neck-and-neck with the Anaconda this kind of poor canopy visibility would be quite bad. If they just took the Mamba cockpit as-is, with zero modifications to visibility, it would be somewhat of a letdown.)
Compare the wings and nose of the Mamba and Mandalay, the cabin of the second one is not closed on the sides and the nose (hull) is quite small, there is a feeling that this cabin is more visible.
