Yeap, and it's totally useless since you still use the tractor beam to move cargoWait, did they really add an uninspired rip-off of Aliens' loader exoskeleton to drop in more wonky beam gameplay?

"Ich glaube dies ist kaputt"Gonna need a new ship
The silence speaks volumes.Always neat seeing the new objects interacting with the old bugs:
The animation to get into that thing plays for how long? And it doesn't even do a helmet flip.Gonna need a new ship

Yeah Spectrum has been a salt maelstrom for a long while, and it ain't abating. Pretty much the norm now.
(Ironically it's probably harder for a PR firm to rock up and post 'What are you most excited for?' counter-cope there than on reddit)
Any specific reasons offered by our friend for that? And it's not just backers with morale struggles...
Hot Gossip:
Our friend reckons a bunch of Turbulent devs are heading out the door now that hiring is picking up elsewhere. Outside of artists a lot of the original dev hires have either left the building, or are about to...
now that hiring is picking up elsewhere.

Poor employee conditions/treatment at CIG? Recent staff dismissals concerns? Overall project viability concerns? All of the above?

Sounds like me from the wording that they are being shown the door.
EDIT: I hear its a very nice space door.
A good few of Turbulent's recent(ish) senior game dev/programmer/engineer/production hires that they enticed or poached from Ubisoft/Eidos etc, were extremely dissatisfied when Beausejour and Turbulent's top table management sold out any chance of future studio autonomy or independence in favour of a Ci~G buyout. A few of them walked out when that was announced a year or so ago... one or two of them very publicly announcing their dissatisfaction on social media. No specifics. Beyond: 'CIG'.
Nope they're saying it's dev choice in this case.
(By hiring picking up they mean choice of positions in other companies being on the up etc)

One of the noteable ones was Annie... with the blue hair...(can't remember her surname for the life of me) a senior producer at Turbulent who appeared on one of Disco Hobo's 'Introduction to Turbulent' feature videos a couple of years ago. She practically pilloried Ci~G on social media after she took the walk.Yeah I saw some meaty LinkedIn leavers after the merger, and it's def been a theme on Glassdoor too.
