What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

Yesterday I had similar problems uploading pictures, maybe it's a forums issue that should be checked? I solved it by signing in from private browser 🤷
Seems like it and thanks for the tip, might try that as well next time it happens :)

I made a 15,000 square meter habitat with an elevated garden terrace overlook for African elephants, reticulated giraffes, zebras, and nyalas to help take up a big chunk of the empty space I needed to fill in.

Nice, wish I could make something like this

Made a little progress today. But now it's bedtime *stretches and yawns

Well, apparently I'm still not allowed to upload screens directly here and from the offsite uplooads only one link is accepted, so that's annoying.

I'm also still doing the "start zoo move to another" thing as well xD

So have the start of a new franchise zoo I'll hopefully stick with for a while. Only have the entrance hall and Flamingos so far, plus a small staff area. The next thing planned are Aardvarks.

Before I had Planet Zoo, my only way to fulfil my zoological dreams was my collection of Playmobil toys. I used to spend hours assembling different sets together trying to create a perfect zoo... And one of my favourite sets was the Penguin pool from the 2007 Aquarium series.
So, today I decided to go back to my roots... Kind of.
I tried building a habitat based off of that same Penguin pool that I used to play with as a child, as a sort of tribute or homage... And honestly I think I nailed it

It's a bit of an upscale, but I love the result and the nostalgic feeling! I used to have the exact same Playmobil exhibit.

Only thing missing is the pelican :(

Of course I had to account for the game's limitations, and I wanted to make it bigger hoping that it would be a functional, game-accurate penguin enclosure. It's still too small 😅

As for the pelican... We can only hope (or throw in a swan and hope that nobody notices)

That's a lovely source of inspiration. Recent Playmobil zoo sets are very cool, back in my days it was more cage-like... I would like to see more Playmobil inspired habitats in this thread!

Well, I had plenty of other sets I can take inspiration from...
Think I know what I'm going to do next
