Which in-game species have you seen IRL?

You two are both in north west Europe near the German-Dutch border area right? (Maybe I'm wrong lol) But I'm surprised neither of you have seen hamadryas Baboon or Markhor, I was under the impression there was a few zoos around there with those species
Yeah there are a few, i just didnt get around to visit them yet :D
Was only relatively recently that i started to visit zoos again, which is honestly quite a waste since as König said western germany is probably the best area in the whole world to be in if youre into zoos.
Definetly got plans to got to zoos that house hamadrays since Hagenbeck, Krefeld and Cologne are all on my list. But those probably have to wait untill next year seeing how the weather is quickly becoming.
Markhor is a different story as those are only in like 3 zoos in the whole country i think. But im planing to do a little short vacation to berlin next year to see the two zoos, the natural history museum and probably also leipzig while im the area

Does seeing the Amur leopard count? XD
I've only just seen my 1st leopard last week
No but Amur Leopards are majestic aren't they? I saw one over a decade ago and seeing her made more of an impression on me than the Bat-eared Fox or Maned Wolf which is crazy considering I say I'm more of a dog person than a cat person!
As far as African Leopards go, I met customers from Africa. I asked what their favorite animal was and one of them said "leopard." She talked a bit about her experience with seeing them. It was cool because I was thinking after they left "we are getting the African Leopard in PZ!"

A bit preemptive to comment on the upcoming pack just yet, but I did want to mention that it’s amusing that currently I’m at 1 out of 3 for the new pack (just the baboon) but could potentially be at 3 for 3 by the time the pack releases since I’ve already got plans to visit zoos with both the Pallas's cat and markhor within the next week. Just found that sort of amusing.
Saw the cat at the National Zoo, but I think Metro Richmond's markhor herd officially went extinct sometime within the past year. Bummer, because that was a major reason for going (though certainly not the only reason) and now I have no idea when my next chance to see them might be.

Seen: bear, cat, baboon, dik-dik, tortoise
not seen: markhor, sifaka

I've missed seeing sifakas multiple times now, it's one of those species I just can't seem to lay my eyes on.

I have seen and photographed five of the seven animals:

  1. Pallas's cat at Cotswold Wildlife Park
  2. Spectacled bear at Jersey Zoo
  3. Hamadryas baboon at Amersfoort Zoo
  4. Kirk's dik-dik at Colchester Zoo
  5. African spurred tortoise at Colchester Zoo

Well with a new pack:
  • African spurred tortoise - Colchester, Blair Drummond (Stirling), Korkeasaari (Helsinki)
  • Kirk’s dik-dik- Colchester, Edinburgh, London, Marwell (Southampton), Paignton, Longleat Safari Park (Warminster)
  • Markhor - Korkeasaari (Helsinki)
  • Pallas’ cat - Korkeasaari (Helsinki)

Don’t recall seeing but are kept at zoos, I’ve been to:
  • Hamadryas baboon - Paignton

Seen the tortoise but at a reptile expo.
The sifaka I've seen. Actually, I've had the privilege to see all the Madagascar species in real-life. I deserve a prize. @frontier, Neotropics pack please and thanks

I only saw Hamadryas Baboons in Beekse Bergen, I don't remember ever seeing Markhor and I definitely never saw neither Pallas Car not African Leopard
Ok so, I saw:
-Hamadryas Baboon (Beekse Bergen)
-Andean Bear (Parco Natura Viva)
-African Spurred Tortoise (Parco Natura Viva, Budapest Zoo and Zoo Szeged)

That's it

I've also seen hamadryas baboons, Pallas's cats and markhors. I've seen Amur and Sri Lankan leopards, but not African.
In addition, I've seen the African Spurred tortoise and Kirk's dik-dik. I saw a crowned sifaka, but not Coquerel's sifaka.

I don't know if I saw spectacled bears. I need to go through my photos, but I think I haven't seen them.

The last zoo I went to (Prospect Park) has Pallas's cats which were off-exhibit due to the summer weather at the time, but also has a troop of Hamadryas baboons which were very active.

Not sure how to count domestics--I've definitely seen all seven as domestic species but I have no idea which chicken, goat, pig, and sheep breeds I've actually seen. I know I've seen the Highland cattle specifically, as well as the alpaca and donkey.
Can add the spectacled bear (Philadelphia) and African spurred tortoise (rescued hatchling adopted by a coworker). Philadelphia also has sifaka but I've never seen them out as they have a large primate collection which rotates constantly.
