My question is if/when I find it, should it be posted?
heh ok CMDR i'll bite...
Well, it's a 10 year old game and nearly 2000 page search thread ( plus the other 2 or 3 'RAXXLA' larger threads, not to mention whatever else spread on the internet ) , with maybe 10's of 1000's of players hoping to finally solve the mystery putting in their own collective countless hours of efforts & theories, etc..
Consequently, it seems only logical ( and respectful ) to share any actual evidence/methods that can be reproduced so that any discoveries can be verified/validated within our devoted community. Using the....
patented hidden SPOILERS TAG
of course. ;)
--------------
Back in the good ole SWG days, as a lil' munchkin gamer, i was fortunate to be the 1st player on all servers to discover DNA mixing combo for an undead 'Blackwing Rancor' ( rarest combat pet for 'Beastmaster' aka 'Creature Handler' profession ) and so i then had the opportunity/decision to either keep the info for myself to garner selfish ingame profit$ ( lol big whoop ) or to reveal everything to the entire playerbase in what became a massive & magnanimous behind-the-Laboratory type forum thread.
Of course i chose the latter. And to this day, i still get PM's every so often from former SWG devotees. Sorta funny sometimes the RL impact mere digital video-games have on people. Sorta cool too. 🌟

Waypoints I'm willing to share:
  • LGM-1
  • Crab Pulsar
The Raxxla image contains the specific unique pulsar timing of the Crab Pulsar. These two waypoints and their history should be what you need to follow my path. Anything more would give it away.
ah ok, so you've made your choice to tease & trickle instead.
i'll wait for someone else to post verification screenshot(s) then.
Godspeed. o7

Well, if you do the simple reading, its obvious.
Then why not just post it all instead of dangling?
Plus i mean, the 'Crab Nebula' is like 6000 Ly's away , no? Sorry but i'm not spending that much travel time just to go on some player's wild goose chase , unless i know for certain it's gonna yield actual discovery results. I'm guessing you're just having a bit of fun with the mystery or whatever , but i mean isn't that FRONTIER's job?

Of course, it could be that Raxxla is actually Holdstock's biggest and best Mythago ever, one that transcended his lifetime.

I'll leave you with that. :D

Merry Christmas to those that celebrate it Happy Chanukah to those that celebrate it. Happy Holidays to everyone else. :)
Thanks mate and may the gods fair you well from us pagans ;)

Well LGM-1 isnt in game

O7
yes it is, I was just there yesterday

Officially designated PSR B1919+21, this was the first Pulsar discovered in 1967 AD. Because regularly repeating radio sources were not known in space at the time, it was briefly named LGM-1 (standing for "Little Green Men") as it was speculated the signal might have been from an alien intelligence.

The original designation of this pulsar was CP 1919, which stands for Cambridge Pulsar at RA 19h 19m .

Read the wiki and then you have the same info I have.
Which "wiki" do you mean exactly? The original RAXXLA wiki?

Just curious, you're documenting this new journey of yours with screenshots/videos i presume?

I'm using official UK astronomical history on wikipedia. Search for LGM-1 or by the official name and read. I've been streaming the journey and answering questions. I really don't feel like writing it all down for now.

ahh ok , so you mean this? --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_astronomy
( i thought you meant just this wiki --> https://elite-dangerous.fandom.com/wiki/Raxxla )

Well, do you have a link to your 'stream site' along with the questions/answers? Is it like your YouTube page or somethin'? ( Not sure why you didn't just post that channel here on these forums already? )
And i suppose you meant this? --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PSR_B1919+21
-----------------------
btw, i happened to also stumble upon this old Raxxla related thread--> https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/major-clue-s-on-raxxla-and-how-to-locate-it.579282/ which may or may not be relevant anymore i dunno. But it seems to go along with the whole "radio signal" theory.

I apologize, I didn't post it as I'm really not a streamer, and I didn't want to advertise the channel.

Yes your last link is correct for the PSR

ah ok and no worries i hear ya
Yes your last link is correct for the PSR
cool thanks and btw if your journey does turn out to be THE solution to RAXXLA , tbqh i sorta had a feeling a few weeks ago here--> https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/the-quest-to-find-raxxla.168253/page-1748#post-10435274 that it could possibly become YOU who would eventually make that grand discovery. (y)
Looking forward to communal confirmation, pics, stickies, etc. etc.

I'm on TTV mach10z for a while before I head to family for holiday. Should be around for an hour or so, maybe I can answer some questions.

unfortunately i'm not able to login 'Twitch' at the moment , but i'm sure plenty of other EliteD pilots are gonna lol

Honestly, for the official records & everything considering this original @Macros Black thread, i personally think it would be great if you could please ( whenever you have time of course ) just post your entire details, process, methodology, etc. as a service to the proverbial greater good of our community. o7

most are prose way of describing an astronomical body but with a double meaning. For instance the mother of galaxies is both a person and an astronomical body. Its more than I care to write here, so if you catch me live I'll explain a bunch but not all of it.

Things are really settling into place and I should be getting close to the end. My question is if/when I find it, should it be posted? Even posting the answer to the first line of the TDW toast could ruin the whole thing.

Yes, obviously you should share it if you ever find Raxxla or any real clues to it ingame. It's basically being searched for since the beginning of the game, and many like me don't actually believe it's in game at this point. So you would do everyone a favor by sharing it to the public. Just use the "spoiler" option to hide the details for those who want to try to find for themselves, but even those will be thankful to learn their search isn't pointless.

I second that. Even if he doesn't find anything it's good to know what was his process to discard that theory, or try something different.

Bingo ^ exactly what i was thinkin' too yep.
And as to your 1st sentence, looks like we're in agreement again lol since i also suggested that very same thing to him earlier over here--> https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/the-quest-to-find-raxxla.168253/page-1788#post-10518434

btw, a few things i pondered ( which of course mostly seem rather "obvious" now post-haste ) after @mach10 started answering with a bit more detail & data:
  1. 'SOL' system has 'The Mother of Gaia' ( aka EARTH? ) which is also considered the "mother of galaxy/universe" to us humans, yeah?
  2. If, as noted within the intel/link i posted above which mach10 confirmed, the 'RA' in 'RAXXLA' could symbolize a Right Ascension , could that be a directional starting point vector? And if so, could the 'XX' = celestial coordinates ( number, degrees ) ? And then if so, could the last 2 letters 'LA' = Left Ascension?
  3. Therefore, could be coincidental however it also feels like the powers-that-be ( aka Frontier Devs ) want us to solve the RAXXLA mystery finally, since they not only named recent update 'Ascendency' but also have literally geared us straight into SOL system for 8th & "final" Titan invasion in conjunction with increased FSD tech jump ranges + expanded Colonisation soon
  4. i checked ingame and cannot find any system listed within GalMap named 'LGM-1' nor 'PSR B1919+21' nor 'CP 1919'
  5. the aforementioned 'Crab Nebula' ( Crab Pulsar ) is 7000 Ly's away and so unfortunately i don't have time ( yet ) to make such a trip
  6. the 'RA' Takakhan' system as well as all of the other 'PSR' prefix systems on GalMap are over 20,000 LYs away , and the other 'CP' prefix systems are listed over 1000 LYs away ---So again, i just don't have time currently to make those super long trips
  7. No mention in mach10's 'Twitch TV' stream ( or Q & A session ) about any final destination or ending location to his journey?
