What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

Haven't shared forever and finished two big zoos in the mean time...

Anyway, here is a glimpse at my first habitat in a new bigger project and the Santa hut where kids can visit "Santa" during winter season.

For my Sandbox Zoo (which I called Kelbrook Zoo) I built a new enclosure for my two Fossa's Kovu and Kiara who desperately needed an upgraded home. I'm super happy with how it turned out. At first, I thought it would be too small for them but they have plenty of space:

I'm thinking about building an orangutan enclosure behind them, but I currently have no inspiration for that, and I always struggle to build for the primates. If I remember, I will post pictures of the round enclosure I built for my two Komodo dragons (I can't remember their names) tomorrow.

I always struggle to build for the primates.

Key thing for a good great ape habitat is to keep it simple. The climbing equipment will dominate it - foliage should be around exterior of the enclosure, creating an illusion of lushness but inaccessible to the animals. Some zoos have success in live planting for great but most don't, at least not beyond low shrubs.

When the game first came out, I remember I built an orangutan habitat (before I realised how much I hate their design - now I never use them) that included a 'tree house' guests could access on one side. My talents have always been limited with this game, so it was just a boxy hut raised up with a glass separation between the orangs and guests, but it was a neat effect.

Finally got around to giving Willow Wood Zoo a proper entrance area.

As promised, here is the home of my two Komodo Dragons (Garry and Ola) at Kelbrook Zoo. Please ignore the ugly blank spaces around the enclosure, as the Zoo is experiencing ongoing expansion (I have finally finished the refurbishing part) Let's start on the outside:

The indoor section:

The red circle is where the Komodo dragons are located in my zoo:

The blue circle is where I plan to build for the giraffe, addax, and aardvark. I doubt I will have enough space for them there, but I will see. Though knowing me, I will probably build something entirely different. However, as you can see from my screenshot I need to start building on the left side of the zoo or fill in the blank spaces before I build for the orangutans above the fossa as that will cause the top of the zoo to be unequal and that will drive me crazy in the same way the blank sections do.

I turned the second dome into the Desert Dome. Featuring 10 species, a jeep safari ride, and a triple platform central viewing gallery with catwalks that take you closer to the animals. I wanted to add more but the zoo is at 90% on the complexity meter and I want to give the final 10% of space to offspring since I currently have aging and breeding turned off. This has given me ideas for when I start a new zoo, though. I had wanted to and an underground nocturnal section but oh well.

Actually that´s my first post on the forum. Maybe i was too shy in the past..but yeah finally i want to show you what i am working on right now.
i rebuilt my entrance of Jenta Zoo and finished the Gift Shop

Jenta Zoo is located in Europe and tries to find a good line between the modern century and the pure beauty of nature.
The leading sentence from the City Zoo is See them. Change yourself.

Yeah i got a transport pack on my list with like animal trailers, boxes and carriers and a delivery pack with trucks, forklift and a warehouse/loading bay that i wanna make in the future.
Ive also been building random little things in between like lockers for staff, more kitchen stuff and so on so i probably will tie those together in like a keeper pack at some point.
Otherwise idk im sure there is potential for more, im open for suggestions
