I wonder how Shipyard and Outfitting will work in colonisation. Can we create another shindez?

I personally can't figure out how it will work at all.
1. For example single-player game that a person declares himself an architect and then? Who is going to build it all, I mean resources?
2. Another option, the community, here selected on this system Architect, and that the rest must fall before him on the ground and fulfill his will? In other words, become a voluntary padawan. And what does he get for his groveling?
Patience is a trait which every padawan should train themselves in. We don't know how the mechanics are going to play out when released in beta and how they will be tweaked after the beta.
I wouldn't be too exasperated about a feature which I can't use, yet.
5 years ago i went on an expedition, did a bit of roleplay/lore, and made a video, with the hope that one day FD would give us colonization.
However, at over 3000 LY out, based on current rules regarding exploration:
1) It would be nigh on impossible for us to work our faction out of the bubble in our lifetimes (never mind the lifetime of the game)
2) it would take at least 300 colonizations to get to the system!
Anyway, here's the vid.
Nice.... what system is that?
3000 Ly is pretty close, few months before Colonisation was announced I deployed carriers as a space stations in the system called Arcadia 36 kly from the Bubble, so I need to colonise 3600 systems to reach that place hahahahaha

It says at the start of the video. Just one of those procgen names. A reason to desire being able to name our systems.
If we could name them, i'd call this Trancentral, not System McSystemface.
If it only was taken as a time-filler. You just have to look at this and the related threads how serious and worked up people get here. The 10ly limit was received like FDev wanted our firstborns.I hope not only for me the discussion here is just a nice time-filler when we wait for relase.
Not all predictions causes expectations.

In the specific case of colonization I only have the hope and wish that it doesn't clutter remote systems with have scenic spots and because colonies attract pirates it isn't fun to have to equip an exploration ship to counter them.
I don't take any responsibility because I mark my speculations as what they are: speculations.

The game mechanics probably will rezz pirates. As I said, I hope that FDev will care about the mechanics but I rather hope that the 10ly limit for colonies will stay or not go much beyond 20ly. Previously, I advocated for a colony lifecycle which eliminates a colony which is not taken care of or cannot be supported through BGS mechanics and I gave reasons for it.[...]
Distant colonies probably will not be very attractive for pirates anyway.
I would agree wholeheartedly to release the limits if I wouldn't bet on the creation of the 'random ganker colony at Beagle Point' if long distance colonization would be allowed. Previously, I mentioned Rackham's Point which is mostly inaccessible nowadays.Right, but you see it from the gameplay mechanics, not in game world. From this point, sure.
As an explorer I want long distance colonisation
The Galaxy is huuuuuge. I did a math somewhere here... Even with 100 new colonies a day it still will be empty for the next houndreds of years...

But as long as we don't know how the limit will be adjusted, I can sleep wellI predict that a certain percentage of the players will prove FDev's limits right - in other words, why there can't be anything good in this world (meaning the ED galaxy).
