For Carnivorans, much higher than it should be IMO. For monkeys, lower than it should be.Let's make a simple guess. In the new DLC, what do you think are the probabilities of cats, bears, dogs and monkeys appearing?

Honestly I would say the odds of one cat, dog, or bear is pretty high. Now let’s assume we finally get a visit back to the Americas, we could get:Let's make a simple guess. In the new DLC, what do you think are the probabilities of cats, bears, dogs and monkeys appearing?

IF its Neotropics themed I'd love to see: ocelot AND bush dog. Coati though is almost a given... Could you imagine three carnivores in one pack this late in the game. People would be upset... So, I think it will be just Coati and Ocelot.Honestly I would say the odds of one cat, dog, or bear is pretty high. Now let’s assume we finally get a visit back to the Americas, we could get:
Considering the ABB is the last bear I think odds could be good, likewise I think it’s possible we could see the bush dog and ocelot if we do get a Latin America/ South America pack.
- American black bear
- Ocelot
- Bobcat
- Coyote
- Bush dog
- Grey fox
Now the monkey question is a bit tougher, it’s kind of like the bird one. It’s not unusual to think we could get at least one, even though some community members would want more than one in a pack. Zookeeper did give us two primates, however Frontier would usually give only one primate a year, if even that. However South America has been long requested, so I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if we got a monkey. If we don’t get a South America pack I think it’s possible we could get an old world monkey, though I find those odds to be a bit lower since we got the baboon.
So I think the odds of getting at least one member of Carnivora would be around 70-80% and if it’s like ZooKeeper we may even get two. For monkeys I think the odds are lower, at max a 50% flip of the coin. It really depends on if we get a South America/ arboreal pack.
Depends on the theming. If it is Americas pack i would say bear has 90% chances, cat 75% chances, dog 25% (bush dog) and monkeys (just 1) like 75% chance (though it should be 100%). But i think it will be a pack dominated by carnivores instead of ungulates: for instance, ABB + ocelot + coati.Let's make a simple guess. In the new DLC, what do you think are the probabilities of cats, bears, dogs and monkeys appearing?
Call me crazy but im going to say that a monkey has the highest likelyhood.Let's make a simple guess. In the new DLC, what do you think are the probabilities of cats, bears, dogs and monkeys appearing?
And yet somehow we still all struggled with deciphering it last time lolthe key art ultimately is too easy for speculation we know what the animals are almost instantly and its only the pack theme we are left guessing.
I remember thinking it was a Zookeeper pack because of the keepers in the background and people telling me I was wrong! And yet somehow we still all struggled with deciphering it last time lol
Which was fun imo. If it was really easy and straightfoward it would be kinda lame eh?And yet somehow we still all struggled with deciphering it last time lol
I remember good chunk of community (maybe not majority, but still good chunk) correctly combined Dictionary words with scenery in the art and with Zookeeper to guess the theme.I remember thinking it was a Zookeeper pack because of the keepers in the background and people telling me I was wrong!
Probably something likeWhat is everyone's dream Neotropics Animal Pack?
I'd like:
It has three carnivorans, though... The Greater Rhea would be anniversary animal though.
- Ocelot
- Bush Dog
- Patagonian Mara
- Black Howler Monkey
- Roseate Spoonbill
- Geoffroy's Spider Monkey
- White-nosed Coati

Those themes are just two with current mechanics: latinamerica and birds.Probabilities for monkey appearing HAVE TO BE high right now. Right?
By all means the support should have ended with Zookeeper pack, they wouldn't "return" if they didn't think they can sell a theme or two still. Themes that convinced some higher ups to keep things going. And those themes are few.
You don't make pack with "we're done" theme, and then come back to sell "Large mammals of continental Asia scenery pack".
I, of course, know how Frontier has designed packs in the past, but I don't expect last pack(s) to be "business as usual". Otherwise they could've called it after Zookeeper. Or even after Eurasia for that matter.
Let me put it this way: I strongly believe, that if we don't get monkey(s) in our last DLC(s) it's because we're getting (flying) birds and/or aquatic animals.

That’s an interesting theory, but I’ll also say if packs are selling normally as they are now why stop?Probabilities for monkey appearing HAVE TO BE high right now. Right?

I guess to expand on this further, why add flying birds now 6 years into development? If the DLCs are selling well enough without birds I would be shocked to see Frontier flip the script. That’s an interesting theory, but I’ll also say if packs are selling normally as they are now why stop?
I think flying birds are at lower chance than Latin America or non-flying birds. But I wouldn't be surprised if we got handful of flyers as a hint for PZ2 (and for feedback) like JW got PteranodonI guess to expand on this further, why add flying birds now 6 years into development? Maybe they want to boost PZ sales due to PC2? Even then regular DLCs sell fine and then you got to take development into cost.
I mean if we get flying birds, or even a good bird variety in the WTE I wouldn’t complain. I just think there is a super low chance of this happening.
