Elite Dangerous | System Colonisation Beta Details & Feedback

Yup, and all with my trusty Cutter (no FC) which is looking very much the worse for wear right now. I wanted to get the second Coriolis done before the weekly reset.
I did choose a system in my power's area rather than at the edge, so sourcing materials has been relatively easy, almost all one jump with notable exceptions (Emergency Power Cells...)
that's wild progress, its taken me all this time to build one outpost, a land base and parts of a 2nd systems first outpost, and that's with helpers

C'mon.... Every time Elite excites me with something new... it hammers it in one thousand pieces.

System architect status lost, My first station Coriolis mission, dissapeared, my architect system, invalid, unclaimable from where I claimed 5 days ago (red x symbol)... I've been working hard since then.... and still able to deliver materials. This status was when I had a completion percentage about 95%....
Still being so, I've continued delivering materials.... and now I'm about to complete, just 623 tons to complete, 99% and waiting for the end deliver... and I have NO idea about what to do. Should I complete the Coriolis?. Will I lost the opportunity to rename it as I want?. Should I wait until architect status get back?. Omg, what a mess!.

No word from FDev because they're all alseep. It'll be like 5 more hours minimum before anything is said.
Yeah ofc.. that was just more a "current status" than an accusatory thing.
I single-handedly built Orbis 60% and now everything is gone...
Thanks FD.
It's all still there, just your system architect status is gone.

Global issue, so good likelihood it will get fixed.

looking around on various places, it seems that the "one guy colonising a load using exploits" is happening with not just one commander, but a few, it could be FDEV locked colonisation overnight so they can deal with the exploiters

Yeah who knows right now. All that we know really is what we can see, which is an issue affecting all players. It's beta... so really best to just hang foul in case this is one of those MDCOA situations that needs a rollback.

I'd love to disembark and see a grubby industrial concourse at the system colonisation ships and see burly/surly workers in hard hats going about their work, or drinking at the bar.
Other megaships should have this too. Like rescue megaships could have had a concourse filled with nurses and doctors.
Other installations could have it too tourist installations... with concourse filled with dressed to impress party people

That sort of thing would be immersive, sure, but making those outfits, creating those animations, programming the NPC AI and so on... every moment they spend on 'immersion' like that takes away from gameplay features (or bug fixing) they could be working on instead.

Devs that focus on endless 'cool' immersion instead of the actual game end up with titles that are still buggy alpha projects after 12-14 years.

Not sure how this person was able to post a new claim with it shut off. I saw it earlier with a probe a few hours ago.

And AGAIN all my colonized systems are gone, the one which is finished and the one I am constructing now, I have now a fully loaded ship and can not deliver the goods, so I can not continue playing without destroying all the goods.

you can still go to the construction sites and add goods to them

I will never (likely) build a tier 3 structure,. so the tier 3 points I get from building a tier 2 structure is worthless. Can't we just have simple points?
I had no idea this was the case and built a relay and a security structure thinking I could build a Coriolis next, but nope. I got tier 3 point which I can't use to build a tier 2 coriolis so now I need to grind out several more structures before I get to grind out the one I want?
Also, I cannot deconstruct the one I built to earn my tier 2 point back. This is all craziness. Honestly, who does that? I mean we weren't given any guidance and due to not knowing a person must grind for a year to finally get to grind for the ONE thing he originally wanted to build.
I always thought games were supposed to be a source of enjoyment. It's almost like someone goes out of their way to make players miserable here at times. I love the game over all and some of the new stuff is cool, but what the heck?

So your complaint is:
  1. Grinding to build stuff is tiresome. - They should add NPCs for hire.
  2. No deconstruct button - I don't know why they didn't add that
  3. Complicated points - that should be explained better.
