Hi All 
...I'm lovin' this topic, and all the speculation. If the mystery ship turns out to be anything other than the Panther Clipper this forum topic will probably implode!

its a new ship launched fighter............ the image was taken on bring your child to work day and little jimmy left his action figures and toy tonka buggy on the floor.

In all honesty, I think it will be the large ship whether it is called Panther Clipper or not but I also believe that we will still see a forum implosion because FDev will put more penalties and limitations on that ship than most people expect, for the simple reason that the moment they release it, there will be the demand for an even mightier ship

There is a danger that the beefy boi chonk is so mighty it collapses into a neutron star SLF.....The nicest thing is that, on the whole, the thread has been light-hearted...

I personally think they wouldn't dare not to, not after this current hype, but whether the whole ship is revealed?...I'm not too sure on that, they might string it (us) along with a slow gradual reveal, types of module the ship carries, potential cargo space etc. (that cargo space though could be a straight giveaway for mainly what it is intended for).
I'm erring on a completely new ship / design at the moment, not necessarily (please don't shout at me) the Panther Clipper either.
I'd like them to reveal what faction or exact manufacturer this ship originates from, that at least gives a more definite pointer without revealing too much at this stage.
In any case (non serious), whatever ship it is will be released alongside with ..'Ship interior cosmetic kits'....several designs, also to include at release other single cosmetic addons, all purchased with ARX obviously.......

IIRC Arthur and Zac did do a cough cough Canther Plipper type thing in a previous stream, so I think odds on this is it. But in any case, new ships are all good and its great to see the art guys flex those crayons.Hi

in all seriousness............ is it definitely a ship? ie could it be part of an MB4 mining machine or something? (which for me would be every bit as cool as a panther clipper)

Nah. It'll carry at least 5k tonnes. But only be able to jump 2.3ly fully engineered, and the guardian modules don't work for "reasons"
However Fdev have made it possible to SC between systems.....

They don't need reasons, just give it 5 optional slots that can fit the new 1,000 tonne cargo racks.
You want to carry GFSDB, shields, fuel scoop then you have to give up 1,000 tonnes each.
