Panther Clipper? Pit-Con.

If both front and rear thrusters just rotated, then the rear thrusters would be blocking the front ones. It looks likely the rear thrusters rotate and move upwards, so from behind the front thrusters are lower than the rears.
I think it's been mentioned by FDev that the 'Prometheus' has been an inspiration, and just generally for a lot of ED ship cockpits, so that makes sense:

Same here, that's why I am already preparing popcorn and beer. :D

In all honesty, I think it will be the large ship whether it is called Panther Clipper or not but I also believe that we will still see a forum implosion because FDev will put more penalties and limitations on that ship than most people expect, for the simple reason that the moment they release it, there will be the demand for an even mightier ship :) (Panther Clipper Defender :D )
The Puma

The new ships make quite a few older ones mostly obsolete. My Cutter though will finally become a warship.
Maybe we should have all stuck with the sidewinder, and not have a choice, because all the other ships make the sidewinder obsolete.

New ships do not make older ones obsolete if you can't afford the new ships.

I have a type 8, I will not be getting a bigger ship as I don't like large ships. I still fly my adder.

I have enough money for a Manderlay, but I Will using a Cobra Mk V for DW3.

Its all about personal choice.

I wouldn't mind flying a Sidewinder...or a FDL with 2000t cargo.
