I'm up to lots of exobiology having accidentally found a five-sun system with a bunch of barycentres into the bargain, on the way back to the orbital I am clearly not going to have time to finish...
The good news is I can see what I'm doing with exo again; I honestly thought going to larger screen was simply not going to work with 6GB VRAM and I'd end up letterboxing, but it turns out the weird artefacts I was getting - usual first sign of trouble was the ship livery disappearing - were actually caused by this iteration of Windows Canary, upgraded to latest and it's fine now. Unfortunate coincidence of upgrading Windows the day after upgrading the screen (yes I should know better.)
Still - bacteria are a lot easier with all this extra hFOV.
