If the world in LNF is really as big as Earth, it will be truly massive.
If they are including oceans, then the total surface could be reduced, to some extent (also depending on whether there is going to be underwater content), however it's still extremely large.
There will be quick travel options, I suppose, but in a way it would feel bigger than NMS to me for two reasons:
-NMS is shapeless. The galaxies are just concepts, you are told where the centre is, and how far it is, but without a working map, it's all the same, which makes any place feel like anywhere else.
-planets are really tiny. Any full system, including its interplanetary distances, could still fit inside a real sized planet.
If different biomes are going to be included, it's really going to be massive, and exploration might hopefully be something worth it on its own.
