Prices are fine, it gives you something to aspire to, if you could get everything that quickly then what would be the point.. .. ..
.. .. .. but waiting for rares ?? Seriously, either find 2 that are close enough to jump between or go USS hunting for 10 minutes. Takes about 20 minutes to fill my 36t for the next run, depending on where I am when I save the game !?!

If you find the game astonishingly mind numbing and boring to play, I can assure you that getting to the biggest baddest ship isn't going to change that. It sounds like you just want the ships price point lowered so you can get there quickly and satisfy your need to "beat" the game. If it was cheap, youd get it and quit, since its not, you'll grind for a while and quit before you get it. It makes no difference in the grand scheme of things other than failing to fit into your preconceived video game notions of ride the rail for 12 hours to "accomplish" everything and then move on to the next game.
I wasn't telling you how to play, I was simply suggesting what the perspective is for the people that will inevitably play the game for the long haul. If you want to spend the next year of your life frustrated and bored, that seems like an awful silly choice to me, but go get it man!

no thats not the case the better ship wouldbe awsome of course but would not sotp me from playing game as the ships themselfs are only a small part of the game
Like I said, if you aren't interested in ever having the 'big' ship, why do you care how much it costs or how long it takes others to get it.
I think it's more the case, you simple don't want other people flying big ships.
This game requires a shift in perspective to play. If you play it with a progression mindset you will burn out very quickly. There, at least currently, is absolutely no reason to own an Anaconda other than to say you have it, its not the best tool for any job at the moment. This game is an experience, not something to conquer, rack up your achievements in, and move on from. Find the jobs you like to do, find the best tools for the job, and have fun doing it. You're never going to beat the game, stop trying.
I think the prices of ships are good and there is no need to change them. You must search for better trade routes....there are better.
Who said anything about beating the game. I want a python, because I want one, I want to fly it, I want to experience it. Currently the only way for me to grt it an a reasonable amount of time is to mindlessly farm a trade route, I don't even like trading, but I'll never get it at the income rate of bounty hunting or exploration. Its a major glaring flaw in game design. The professions are completely out of balance and the costs of ships, and jn particular their upgrades, are arbitrarily set at an unreasonably high price

There's currently no major benefit to owning the big ships yet, credits earning potential doesn't scale. So there's no rush.
Find something you enjoy doing and do it. Try to mix it up. Once you have an asp you have the most capable ship to earn credits in the two best careers in the game right now, but still do anything you like. And in an asp there's little that you can't do and have fun.
As more content is released and bigger ships become an actual upgrade to credits earning, to the point where they're capable of providing enough income to make bigger profits, then you can start thinking about attaining them.
I want a Python but I'm under no illusions that it'll enable me to make enough money to cover the risk of ship loss. So I'm in no hurry.
if you want to argue that bounty hunting and exploration needs some income adjustment i certainly won't argue against that, but i find the ship prices to be quite reasonable.
I want a bugatti veyron, at this rate im going to have to grind for the rest of my lifetime and the next. You can't always have what you want without putting in the effort.
I think this whole thread can be summed up in the immortal lyrics of freddie mercury... I want it all, i want it all, i want it all, and i want it now.
not one person in this thread said they want anything handed to them. eneryone agrees there should be some dedication involved and everyone wants cool stuff and everyone hates grinding.
Awesome so we all agree, working as intended.

For those who are complaining (or however you see it), about the game, just realise that it IS A GAME, so if you're not enjoying it & having fun, maybe it's time to move along to something else? Just my humble opinion
There's no point doing something you're not enjoying if you don't have to.

I want a Bugatti Veyron, at this rate Im going to have to grind for the rest of my lifetime and the next. You can't always have what you want without putting in the effort.

Is there some sort of trick to finding them? (Galaxy map trade info seems undependable since it's often inaccurate) The best I ever manage to find are usually 1000-1300c profit per ton roundtrip routes.

I personally only want to fly a bigger ship just so I can experience something new, even if that something new is gazing at the ship during outfitting. It would make a nice break from the monotony .
