nope nothing... just opened fire.
Many good words.
Couple of things i have to mention, i went to Lave to break the blockade that i had heard about on the forums and one thing led to another and eventually this pvp mass battle.
I always see cmdr shockwave but never the python guy... disapointed![]()
I liked how Shockwave threw himself at him again and again to stall the guy.
He's back at Lave now BTW.
others would jump on the FSD Wake, but that's so damn near impossible to do at the moment (you don't lose momentum locking onto one like you do for other Navigation points, so getting to <1Nm means you overshoot again and again and again)
Interesting point SubSynk raises though that's not come up - I interdicted him 4-6 times (Not exactly sure) with some submissions, some wins. (I wasn't watching your stream by the way, I was having data mentioned to me on Mumble!) Every time I did it, I cost him 40k, whilst costing myself maybe 20k in total repairs for my Cobra. And each time, as long as I was on the ball and made a point to boost past him (to abuse his turning speed and acceleration) he couldn't get to put much damage on me until the last time when I screwed up the angle.Worth pointing out that i had just enough to cover the insurance for 1 replacement of the ship, not hundreds of millions etc and each interdiction cost me 40k alone for every 2% damage. In total the event cost me 10 million and i now cannot afford even my insurance but it was worth it as it was such fun, i hope i did not cause others any big losses but i'm pretty sure i didn't.
That's... remarkably open to potential abuse, Frontier. Interdict and run over & over just as a way to degrade them prior to engagement.
I think the major issue was that even when submitting Subsynk was getting FSD error messages and still being hit with 4% damage, not sure if there was something he should have been doing when submitting or if it's a bug....as even though he tried everything to stop being punished with repair bills it just wasn't happening
Don't you love losers?
This is going to be a lot more common now that more and more beta veterans are back in their preferred ships for RPK and will see just how far they can take it. The whole bounty mechanic kinda backfires as some sort of badge to show off with.
