Could I just have an answer?
Werther good or bad, but just something to go by.
Many Thanks
It can't be done automatically - you'll need to raise a ticket and they'll review.

Cool! Are there plans for these reports to also display in neighbouring systems' newsfeeds too?
If there is a state change within the system it should be reported in the newsfeed for that system.

Still no news regarding rare weapons and there distribution for sale?
-weapons such as 'overcharged multicannons' and 'focussed lasers' appear to have been removed from sale in the game. While people who had them prior to release kept them.
My issue is, I spent my time searching high population, industrial and high tech ports...and never seen a single one. Its not much fun looking for something that doesn't exist anymore. And I'm not the only one. A word either way would be good so we don't feel 'left out to dry'.
In real time... How fast do you want that to happen? ...
In real time
Why? It would prevent the "it takes several hours" problem. Just like every other real time game / online game.
And before you respond with "but, but but", keep in mind the following:
Either cloud computing (offsite or onsite) gives you nigh-infinite & instant cpu, memory, disk, and network latency/throughput/capacity, or it doesn't. If it doesn't, you're doing cloud computing wrong. If it does, your code and/or design is terrible, and you should fix it. Which is it?
I mean, I get that in 1984, it was slightly more challenging to reflect real time effects in a simulation. Today? M.2 SSD's on your servers, 10GBit Fibre Ethernet, i7 4Ghz CPU's, 4, 8, 32 or 64GB of Ram per core... hardware is no longer the issue when you can bring however much you need online dynamically, at any time.
Finally, defending bad coding & design gets you exactly what you defend: bad software. There's 30,000+ entries in the Elite Dangerous bug database. Hm, almost like there's massive problems with this game. They don't need a pass, they need a kick in the ass.![]()
That's good news (see what I did there?). Does that also hold true for Civil Wars? I'm worried about having a "Flash Civil War" and not knowing it even happened.
BTW: Are Civil Wars suppose to last so short? I would think having it go at least a day so players can get into the Conflict Zones.
Hi Michael,
I submitted a ticket that some myself and some other CMDR's still weren't receiving bounties collected. Any update on fixing that bug? Thanks!
Unfortunately, this doesn't fix the bug where the ranking and permits get themselves confused. In Ross 128, yet get offered the unavailable mission to go to Ross 128 for the Federal Communique. Ticketed weeks ago and still no response, so I can't get past Warrant Officer. :S
Bug: Get a slaves mission. Go buy slaves more slaves than you need from elsewhere. Return with surplus slaves to station that gave you the mission. Check bulletin board, and you might be lucky enough to find another slave mission to sell 2 more slaves. Turn in both missions (the original and the new one) and you will be given credits for the original mission, but for the second one they will take your slaves but not give you any money for them.
This has happened twice now and I have been robbed of about 88,000 credits.
Edit: Now I'm doubting myself and thinking maybe they were just rep-gain missions.
They can be over quickly if one side crushes the other.

Anyone encountering longer than usual jump times sine the last update? Spent over 4 minutes in warp last night making a single 15ly jump. Same issue for the rest on line in the private group as well.
Got a federal rank mission (currently my rank is lieutenant) to kill a "bad" general.
after finding him he starts to attack - when shooting him i get a wanted status, when killing him i get 5000cr for murder.
no more words...
