I've been wondering if any other E: D peoples would be hunting down a bargain. I'm curious what was your realistic max bid? :D I put mine in and then thought I hope it doesn't go that high, I'd prefer to spend a bit extra and get a new one.

Well, my realistic max bid would have been £60. Ended up getting one for £53 plus postage. Still a bargain... the cheapest new ones I've seen are £90. :cool:

Enjoy your stick... mine will be getting put away until alpha as I have no other games to take advantage of it. :)

Well, I'll make you feel a little better, you probably paid the same for the one you got if you were bidding against me in the auction I won .. ;)

MS Sidewinder Precision Pro right-hand and Strategic Commander (mapped to keyboard controls) left-hand. I suppose it will have to be through x360.ce and Strategic Engine. Head-tracking with a FaceTrackNoIR and PS3 eye camera. I can't stand the joypads for anything other than footy games - kills the immersion. Mr Braben how do you do it tut...tut...tut

Certainly mouse and keyboard for me. But can anyone recommend any decent and accurate sticks. I haven't used on in ages, the last one being a Thrustmaster F16 FLCS system minus the peddles. Good but had a somewhat wavering dead zone.

Thats impressive mate, love the lights all over your various equipment and so many screens! is that an Arial pic that's framed in the middle hanging up, looks interesting...am most impressed by your set up. :)
