How much money is going into elite - if not much skeleton crew then critism will mount quickly, is it being wasted on staff morale if so that needs to stop
Hiring takes 4-6 weeks but theyve been hiring for 3 months now and none of the positions seem to have been filled. So the question is why.
One has to start questioning priority if its being used as a cash cow, then frontier developments are bashing the kickstarter backers over the head.
Feel free to prove the playerbase wrong by actually fixing the game, making things work just hte basic things that should happen. Actions on this front will speak louder than words
Because at the moment in the IT sector there are lots of jobs going and very little in available workforce.
Most of the IT types that I've run into in the last 10 years, go the management route within 2-3 years, find that they can't get management jobs so quit the industry. I've got 25 years of experience writing software of one type or another, including a couple of games that I worked on. Gaming software projects require long hours and tight deadlines, it's a young mans game and there just aren't that many IT graduates that have the right skillset.
I'm confident that they are working on the problem, MB's constant replies to this thread prove that he wants the background simulation to work correctly. Our continued efforts at testing for the last couple of months is probably better than their in house testing team, and I'm surprised and a little bit proud of the dedication that we've put into this testing.
