Personally I'm very disapointed with this... Every time company announce console support it means that they are going to change all menus to some circuit buble in middle of screen and everyhing get colored icons from play station controller... WHY? WHY? WHY? !!!!!!!!

If the galaxy is shared, there's the whole balance thing (Controllers vs. PC control combos (and yes, I know a lot plays with Xbox controlelrs, but you still have a keyboard as a backup).

Also, and I hate to say this, XBox Live is swamped with wannebe 1337-kiddies (I know I'm generalizing here, but in my opinion, it's sadly the truth), and I'd hate to see those buzzing about my relatively peaceful galaxy, grieving just for the heck of it...

No one knows for sure yet. But I would expect it to be the same as it is between solo and open ... we both share the same universe but we can't interact.

No one knows for sure yet. but it's certainly feasible, the save files are stored on Frontiers servers and both the XBone and the PC are essentially PC's

I dont have a console but it appeals to me ... the more the merrier i say ... ED could end up being a world beating AAA game across all the major platforms and that could only be for the good

I don't understand how ED would NOT be dumbed down completely because of this. I never play console since I'm used to having control over everything. Explain how playing with a little toy handheld controller can allow all the bindings like on a PC? It can't, therefore the game will have to cater to those people, and remove all the customization that we currently have.

Hell, Yahtzee pointed out that he mapped all his controllers on the PC to his Xbox controller (except one, but others pointed out he could have fit that in too), so the better question is why COULDN'T you keep things as they are?
