Spear of Lugh ist still ongoing but we have taken control over Hartsfield and we are the controlling faction of the system. It's still civil war between CSG and LFE but we are the dominating power now :)

Fabulous!

So Silver holdings needs influence reducing and CSG needs influence increasing now I take it?

Or did FD manually sort the influence again?

Silver has still the most influence percentage but as far as I know this is due to a bug and will be sorted by FD.

Congrats to all who helped but mainly to Orfboy and co. for instigating and sticking with this through thick and thin.
I was expecting it to all go belly up due to overwhelming fed support but someone somewhere must like us!

Would be interesting to get figures from FD to find out how many commanders fought on each side I think.

So if anyone has some open repair bills or such from recent skirmishes - the convoy beacon is still active and heartsfield is still paying 40 kCr per container. You just can't choose factions anymore.

CSG has had more important things to do than reprint the stations. ;)

and congrats to CSG for the hard fought victory.

My only regret is that real life issues didn't let me participate more.

I also never caught the Federation governor red handed selling Lugh's citizens as slaves. :( All the evidence points towards Hartsfield Market as the source of illegal slaves in this sector of the Federation, but circumstantial evidence isn't proof. Thankfully, Lugh 6's citizens no longer have to fear being abducted in the night.

Of course the struggle continues. Cavendish Ring is still in Federation Hands, and my sources tell me that the ex-governor has taken over control there.

The Federal Navy still has control of the "skies", we could see a scorched earth withdraw, or even a direct assualt to destroy Hartsfield station. (Which would be akin to nuking a major city)

It depends on how much political pressure is building on President Halsey to call an armistice and open peace talks.

Be vigilant.

(We still don't know what Frontiers plans for the war are)

Looks like CSG broke the political will to fight. My bet, Vote of no confidance - Halsey out. Cease fire incoming.

The debate in Congress turned ugly tonight, as members of both parties grilled the President over her mishandling of the Federation’s interests during the last six months.

Particularly hot topics included the heavy-handed ban against Onionhead, the resultant bombing of Panem, the loss of multiple frontier systems to pirates and apathy, as well as her most recent blunders in the handling of the attack on Lugh.
