Alpha Release date speculation thread

It is when it is ... many of us have waited years for this, so picking between days for an alpha makes not a blind bit of difference. :)

Brilliant ... if that's the case ... I got my link for the Alpha three days ago.

Here goes on my opinion. First thoughts:

What I really like about it is just the fluidity of the flight ... it's really analogue (for some reason it really reminds me and my brother of Crazy Taxi in that respect), also I really like cockpit, they've really nailed the feeling of speed with it's movement and stuff it seems they've toned it down a little from the videos I first saw and also flying through the asteroid field, even though there's no combat in this first build is massive fun trying to beat your last personal best getting from one end to the other. But what I like the most about this first alpha build is that I've completely made all this up and I can just imagine some of you sat there having kittens. Nah, I can't wait either. It's gonna be after the weekend ... one would have thought. Or some time after that.

Anyway: this interview must have been recorded a while ago:
- May 2013 is regarded as RECENTLY
- Only just nominated for the award he won a few weeks ago.

So generally speaking of an ALPHA release at the "end of the year" would make sense knowing it is somewhere in December.

Can`t wait. Totally worth the 20+ years & $600+ Au for this month & following.
Not a hardcore gamer, but could not miss this :D

Good luck with that, there are loads of them popping up! Of course Frontier could stop all this guessing nonsense by just releasing a date for Alpha......pretty please ;)
